Exactly what I was looking for

I wanted an app that would let me set daily goals, but also goals that could be 3x per week at my discretion which day or on set days. I didn't think there would be an app that would perfectly meet my needs, but this one does. Perfect and worth the 3.99 for the paid app that lets you have more than five reminders.

Update after lots of use: The only reason I dropped my rating to five stars is that really often when I check off a task it stays frozen, that is shifted right with the check mark displayed. I have eight habits and it never makes it through all eight without freezing. To get it to register that the habit was done I need to hard close the app and relaunch it. That is a small daily annoyance that I end up doing a couple times each day.

Besides that, in terms of function and design, this is by far the best app I’ve found, which is why I stick with it despite the minor annoyance of having to hard close it to register which habits are checked off.

The app is excellent but the customer support is robotic

This is honestly a great app. Well worth paying for. It works brilliantly 99% of the time. How when it doesn’t work customer support is not great. I’ve had a couple of problems with it and the first response is always to ask for screenshots, then when I provide them I get “this is a known issue”. To be fair these issues do usually get resolved in the frequent updates. But it’s not very supportive. Recently I noticed they’ve got two subscriptions for me, so I emailed to ask about that. First I got about 1000 word email saying they were sorry I was leaving and to always contact support in the first instance - which is what I did! Then when I emailed again I got the “this is a known issue” response. It feels as though they’ve contracted out to a robot, I’ve lost faith in my ability to actually raise a question and get it sorted. I still think the apps great and hope that I’ll remain subscribed (once only) but I wish they’d train their customer support robots to answer questions.

Updated review 2024:
Customer support is now nonexistent. I have emailed several times only to get an automated response to check the FAQ for help. I’m dropping my review down to 3 stars from an original 5. The devs seem to have abandoned this.

Not intuitive

I found this app difficult to use. Like another reviewer I wanted the pomodoro timer and couldn’t figure out how to use it! Likewise for other habits, I couldn’t figure it out at all. With time and persistence I have now figured out how to use the app but I don’t find it helpful and for me, it’s not encouraging. The notifications / prompts are actually irritating and actually add stress to my life. I have used some great apps which can be encouraging but this app is not for me. I accidentally allowed the 7 days to turn into a subscription so I have desperately tried to be positive about it and find something good to make the most of it, but it’s been a struggle to find anything good. I don’t like it at all. I tersting that most of the positive reviews are from 4 years ago, so there are probably better apps that are more intuitive available now.

“Mark a habit as incomplete”

I think there should be a feature where you can mark that a habit was not completed. There is a feature where you can skip a habit in special occasions, and there is a feature where you can mark that a habit was completed. I understand that if you don’t do either of these then the app recognizes it as an incomplete habit but sometimes when I go back to previous days and see that a habit is not completed, I can’t remember if I just forgot to mark it as complete or if I actually didn’t do it. That’s why I really think there should be a feature to mark that a habit was not completed instead of just having that be recognized by the app if you don’t mark it at all. I don’t want to just skip a habit and have it say that my streak continues. I benefit from the punishment of losing a streak. That’s why I want there to be an additional feature to mark that a habit was not completed. Maybe it could be a long press on the habit or some other type of gesture.

Thank you for your time and for considering this feature. Other than this feature, I would actually give five stars—but this is a huge issue for me that is make or break for me.

Unable to restore purchase

Support team unable to help me on this issue. There is no restore purchase option, which they claim to be!

This is really frustrating

The app wouldn’t let me pick a habit it kept on saying pay 49 dollars a year to unlock this habit! But all the habits would say that and I wouldn’t be able to do any habits

Free version review

I love how the app looks but i cant pay for the subscription. In the free version, you get a maximum of 5 goals before it tells you to pay. You cant even create your own goals and have to use the ones it recommends.

No free version

I downloaded this to track some habits and answered some questions and immediately was met with a paywall. It seems there is no way to use this app for free.

Response from developer

Hello! Thank you for your feedback! Please note that you can always dismiss the subscription offer and continue using all of the essential features that come with the basic version of the app. For this, simply tap the corresponding button on the offer screen. Hope it helps! Best regards, Support Team

Very helpful but does not have one off to do list

This app is an amazing tool to keep you focus but the fact that it does not have the ability to create a one off to do list makes it a 4 star and the reason why I stopped using it and paying for it. I probably would have only used this app and paid for the full plan every year if it had that option but since I have to use other apps to create a one off to do list for every day it becomes a little less efficient.

From my understanding the developers have been told about this for over 5 years now and it’s one of the main requests from most people but there is still no update on such feature.

Best habit/productivity app ever!

I’ve used a ton of apps to be more organised and to develop good habits and none worked - until I started using this one. I don’t usually write a review but I want other people to benefit from this app and it is really helping me change my life for the better. It’s not just helping me to do things like drink more water but it’s helping me to feel better about myself and to give me permission to look after myself. I am terrible at self care as it makes me feel guilty but with the help of this app I am learning that I am allowed to dedicate time to myself x thank you so so much!
