No logic
Am overseas. Can’t receive OTP for some reason therefore I cannot access the app. Charging me 36 ringgit automatically a day for roaming on postpaid. Rubbish service.
Tech company that cant figure out basic tech
This is the most outdated, frustrating app I’ve ever used. Companies with a fraction of money and experience manage to at least make their apps fictional. As a tech company you would think they would have figured this one out but apparently not.
The payment system to “top up” your balance is ancient. You can only pay by card and the only option is to manually enter all details. A copy and paste option has been a thing for more than a decade but hey I guess it’s nostalgic. There is no way to save card details so when their app doesn’t work (every single time you try to use it) you are forced to enter the details again MANUALLY.
This would be less frustrating if the payment system actually worked but I have tried 4 different cards and have double triple checked the details entered (wouldn’t have to do this if there was a copy and paste option) not one “failed” transaction has come up on any of my online banking apps so when they say the reason for this is to do with my bank is a blatant lie.
I tried to get in touch with customer service but in order to even start a chat you need 2 contact numbers. I don’t know about most people but I usually buy a SIM in order to get a number so unfortunately cannot speak to anyone.
This has taken several hours and I have gotten nowhere. I’ll be switching SIM companies as soon as possible. Thank you for wasting my time!

Don’t work, I paid 20 RM impossible to activate.
It’s a scam, do not buy a U Mobile SIM card. It’s impossible to activate via the app . The selfi step doesn’t work. Big scam to steal you 20RM . If you read on forums online like readit , everyone says it a scam .

Awful design and UI
It seems like the designers of this UI were intentionally trying to frustrate the client. At the very least, allow us to copy and paste card numbers into one field! Come on. This isn’t the 90’s
Worst app
This is probably the worst app I have ever used in Malaysia. It doesn’t allow self registration and is built to antagonise the user than aiding. I don’t know why such a big provider as U Mobile seek to launch such a clunky app. This is the end for me as I will be switching to another provider.
