  • Unacceptably broken

    Cannot get this to work on a normal iphone, their support team gave up on it. Prempoint will recommend you convince your landlord to provide you with a prempoint fob; those with experience working with landlords probably know that's a big sell...

    Genuinely this is the only app I've used on my phone that just doesn't work, and being able to access your housing is too important for a gimmick app to lock you out. Observing others using it, even when it does work it's usually incredibly slow.

  • Would be great if it worked.

    Works really great until you try to leave for a trip only to find out you have been signed out. A headache from start to finish every time its used.
  • door lock

    to have as an everyday door lock for your house or apt is not worth it or is it seamless as it should be. not as responsive and no upside really unless it’s a airbnb and you switch guest often
  • Slow and unreliable

    Often takes over a minute to connect to lock. Doesn’t connect at all ~20% of the time. Extremely frustrating and cannot be trusted. Always bring key fob.
  • Absolute garbage, and dangerous

    This app works maybe half the time to open the door. Most of the time you have to wait a solid minute for the door to open. And sometimes it just doesn’t work, like it did last night. I had to wait over and hour to open my door, it was 3°F outside. If your apartments try and make you use this tell them no.

    Connor, we are sorry to hear you are having issues with the lock. The Prempoint app is dependent on a few technologies including your bluetooth on your mobile phone along with the lock itself. If you can please send your issue to support@prempoint.com we will help troubleshoot. Also, it's always helpful to have a key fob as backup. Please ask your property manager about getting a key fob.
  • The app should be called garbage

    The most non user friendly app I’ve ever used. The creator needs to reevaluate the whole entire app….garbage.

    dlo1234577 we are upgrading our user experience in 2023. We struggled over the last 24 months due to supply chain issues that occurred due to COVID. Please be patient with us as we make changes this year.
  • Good luck getting in if there’s a bad guy chasing you

    This app will randomly log you out, crash, take multiple attempts to open, you might as well just be a standing target if a bad guy is chasing you or something. Terrible decision switching to this system nothing beats a good old key and lock.

We pride ourselves on fixing any issues with our app. We do our very best to make sure that app and platform are stable, bug free, and crash free, however there are so many variables that can cause issues with our app on your phone.   • One word says it all in describing this app…

    …GARBAGE.

    It’s completely unreliable and fails to archive one basic objective: the ability to consistently and reliably unlock and lock doors. This app NEVER accomplished that one task. Want something that is reliable? Go with the Schlage app.

    We are sorry you are having issues connecting to your unit lock over bluetooth with our app. The Schlage locks on your unit will only work with our app so using the Schlage app will not work in this case. Also, the Schlage locks on your unit use BLE technology that pulses a bluetooth signal every 20 seconds or so. This can cause delays in connecting over bluetooth and is a known issue with these particular Schlage locks. Please ask your property manager for a key fob so that you have multiple way to get into your unit.
  • don’t waste your money!!

    I live in a complex called sole at casselberry, sometime I have to leave the door unlock because this device don’t work, it doesn’t have key so you can close manually, if your phone goes off you can’t get in, sometime it takes 3 mins to wake up so you can open the door etc etc.
    Friends it’s bad. I wish I could say zero because 1 is to mucchh

  • absolute garbage

    It never works unless i reload the app. the app isn’t stuck, it’ll load other things but fails to connect to the lock despite being able to pull up lock status.

    Please see our comments above. The issue is with how the hardware lock itself broadcasts the bluetooth BLE signal. We are sorry for the inconvenience. Please contact your property manager so that you can get a key fob as a backup access method.
