Please see our comments above. We understand the bluetooth connection with these Schlage locks can be delayed. There are two options: use a fob as your primary access method or pull out the app to unlock the door about 30 seconds before approaching the door. This will help with the connection delay.

Most convenient key system!
We purchased the lock and started using it at our home. It has never been easier to handle all of the people who need access whenever we are not home, for example our cat sitter. And we can see the times of arrival and departure too. It’s perfect!

They came and installed keyless entry locks on our property and its womderful! Makes our life easier and they were super helpful helping us set it up!
