A bit useless because
TorGuard is a bit useless because when connected to it you can’t connect to certain sites such as Yelp or banking apps, etc. Further, you get tons of captcha challenges on sites, anything using cloudflare or Google. I have even gotten captcha challenges on Torguard’s own website when using TorGuard. Seriously?? I have another VPN supplied by my ISP that doesn’t do this at all so I know it’s a problem with Torguard. Also, I paid extra for a dedicated IP yet I was told they actually are out of stock for dedicated IP’s near me. Seriously? What am I paying for? The only thing TorGuard has going for it is it can use the Wireguard protocol versus OpenVPN which is not as efficient and on iOS uses more battery life.
Also, their customer service is absolutely abysmal, they will just ghost you, and not answer questions.Show lessphototristan

Hello, If you have a problem connecting to certain sites your first port of call would be the support desk - any block is easily resolved with support. Captcha is there to prevent bots, if you use shared servers this is bound to happen - we can’t whitelist our own ip’s to let users freely abuse our site, so that doesn’t make much sense to do. Works okay on my Macbook but hopeless on my iPad. Every time the tablet goes to sleep the vpn stops working. This means that each time I have to go back to the app and Disconnect and Reconnect before Internet connectivity resumes through the vpn.

Worst VPN ever
This was the worst experience I had during a decade of purchusing VPNs. unfortunately I lost about about 200$ on the 3 year subscription of this VPN. I live in Iran that has heavy internet censorship, despite their heavy advertisements that say they can bypass any Internet censorships and restrictions, they can’t.
Many free VPNs can bypass but this expensive VPN is not able to do that. I asked them to refund my money but they said crypto payments are not refundable! And they had written this into their terms and conditions and not under the payment page so I lost my money. They asked me to apply some settings to connect but the settings couldn’t establish on IOS or my purchased dedicated Ip and also applying them on public servers caused internet speed to drop drastically so their recommended settings were useless too. You can easily put them on worst global VPN’s list.Show lessProGrandMan

Was considering returning
I was a torguard user for years and generally happy with their service. I'm looking for a new provider and torguard was the first company that came to mind. I checked recent reviews still solid. Checked the ios app and over a year without an update? That is completely unacceptable for any app let alone one that has much importance and risk as a vpn. This makes torguard on ios a dangerous app that comprises everyone security and in some cases their lives or freedom. I will never look at or recommend torguard to anyone and will instruct current subscribers to cancel immediately.Show lessHeftybags
Some Problems
I'm in Canada, so I select Toronto Server (mostly)
Lately, I've been unsuccessful connecting to Toronto. When that happens, I select Vancouver
Lately, I've been unable to connect 100% to either of these. I'm then forced to Chicago or New York

Best VPN
I using dedicated IP, which really worth what pay. Speed is good & can watch Netflix (USA) without an problem. Other VPV locations all also good and connect fast .
One thing impressed me most that is tech support. They are very quick to reply & have thorough knowledge to solve issue .Omran79
