Great concept. Short time effectiveness
Great app. Love, love the button layout and extra choices like the touch pad. Amazing. But I seriously cannot stress how annoying it is that the true connection with the Tv only usually lasts as long as the phone screen is still on, meaning if your in a comfy awkward position you gotta get out of it repeatedly to force close the app in your multitask section and start it up again to reconnect to the TV. This makes it impossible for the app to be a really good actual permanent remote replacement. That plus the fact that you cannot turn on a switched off TV. Thou I understand why. In app?
I don’t mind paying for a app that i think is better than the default (which this definitely is).
However we have one tv that multiple people use.
Is every single person who wants to control the tv in our household supposed to individually purchase this for one tv?
That said I’ve bought it and we’ll just have to share it when needed because the arrows and options are reachable one handed and that makes this the best remote.Show lesssweetielowe

Downloaded this so I can have something I can use as a backup for a lost remote, this works a treat. As the title says the ads are very manageable and not at all annoying. I tried a few other remote apps and they were all badly thought out. They had me select a yes or no option on my tv before I could use it, how in the world I was supposed to do that without the original remote I don’t know. Finally, to upgrade all I need to do is fork over 4 measly bucks. In short, pretty good app so far and definitely one I’ll keep around just incase I lose my actual remote again.Show lesstino768
Needs Improvement
It’s so handy when you need it most and it decides to finally work without giving you problems. The ads are so annoying after each button you click though. Sometimes it won’t connect to the TV at all. All the other TVs in the house will pop up in the list besides the ONE TV your actually trying to use it for. The app is bipolar, it works when it wants to. Definitely needs lots of improvementShow lessadonyspromise
Doesn’t work
I purchased the application hoping it would work!! It doesn’t at all I tried reinstalling ect but keeps glitching out, totally useless :(Frustrated Yahtzee Lover
Okay but a few bugs
This was really helpful as my smart remote stopped working and the app has all the same functions which is great! There is a small bug though where you can only press the 'okay' button a few times before the app crashes and none of the functions work. I have to close the app and reopen to get it to work again. Would be a 5/5 but it's a real shame that happens as I paid for the pro version.Show lessSilentlyExistingForPhan
Works great when it’s connected
The app seems to timeout after a while and becomes unresponsive to tapping on the buttons, unless you completely close the app (from multi task) and start it again.
Apart from that, the control options and response of the TV when you use the app is good.Jinshuu
Rubbish
Great if you like having to shut down and restarting the app every time you want to use a different function. A waste of money.89463821
