Paid for but unusable. Tried to get support totally ignored by developer.

This app no longer opens videos or clips that are on iCloud not the iPad. Cant open loads of drafts. Can add new clips. And have sent MANY EMAILS AND MESSAGES INKY TO BE IGNORED. So paid fir a year got a few months worth of usage. Been in contact with Apple not the iPad. All up to date. i have an iPad Pro. Only a couple of years old. Edit to respond to INSHOT. I have tried your’fix’ but that means for a 1 minute video that is make up of 30 clips I have down load 30 videos. This didn’t used to be a problem. I also have not moved anything pretty much everything is on the cloud so when I make a video it needs to download from the cloud. And when I try and build a new video it won’t download new clips for a new video from iCloud either. I mean what a lot of time to have to download everything to my phone before I can use the app! THAT IS LOOOOOOOOOONG!

Response to developer… I HAVE EMAILED YOU 4 times! And messaged you on TikTok! You ignore me every single time!

If you don’t have this, you’re missing out

I am someone who tries our apps all the time. I also produce results with apps that most people can’t achieve. They don’t really understand all the features. And they don’t use apps in combination to achieve a result that is not available by using just one app. InShot is one of the few apps that I’ve use that puts together, so many great features. You can achieve a high-level of video editing, and effects that are unparalleled. You can pay for Final Cut Pro, or Luma fusion even on your iPad. However, the learning curve is high with some of these. And we still don’t get some of their easy and unique features of this app. I have made contact with this app and have gotten repeated questions about who’s on my team and how did I do that. they recently added the ability to have captions. What I would love to see is that they have a better B roll feature. However, you can subscribe to some free services out there. I just import them into the app.

App stopped allowing downloads

Hey team, I’ve been a PRO subscriber for a couple of years now and InShot has been my favourite editing app yet! Until it stopped working - I’m unable to save my videos anymore. After editing, I hit save as usual, and the timer keeps rolling and resetting. Even after leaving my phone for 30minutes to save… nothing.
I’ve reached out to support via email but not heard back. Please help.

Hi, we are sorry for the problem, could you please try cutting several frames in the beginning of the video? Corrupted frames in the original video may cause the error. If it still didn't work, please send us feedback in settings, we will locate the bug ASAP and fix it. Thank you for your support and help.

Today I was trying to clear storage off my phone and went over to inshot and stored the videos on there so I could edit it later for my yt channel and permanently deleted the videos off photos thinking that this was smart, but inshot made it a very dumb move because when I went to edit it later it said something like: “sorry, but you can’t access these files anymore.”
With means I can’t ever get the footage back so there goes the views I was about to get.
Don’t get this app. Just download CapCut or something instead.

So versatile and up to date on trends!

I learned everything I know about video editing in premiere, and this app has a really nice transition from very professional software to mobile editing software without feeling like I have to relearn all the dumbed down versions of the same commands. It is there any intuitive, and I can do just about anything design for any screen. And any new trend that I see pop up on any social media platform I am able to do in this app!

InShot- Good

InShot is an amazing app and has almost every useful feature you could possibly ask for that you for some reason don’t see in other editing apps like CapCut and Splice, it’s also free and only displays ads when you save a video to your phone. One negative I noticed is a saving issue, when you save a draft, if your a regular user with 200+ drafts like me then if you make a draft and leave it for a month or so, I’ve noticed most of the time you can’t access that
Draft again because of a saving error or just some bad app and ui design, this does not change the fact InShot is a great option and I’m my opinion it’s better than CapCut for most things, CapCut is like it’s fun little brother where InShot may not have as many cool ai features, but it’s really easy to use and has all the key elements and features you need in an editing app, overall; keep it up guys!

PLEASE ADD ICLOUD SYNC!

Oh my goodness. I love this app so much. I have never paid so much for an app, so swiftly, as this. I love how you constantly add new things. But please - add iCloud Sync. I use this app on multiple devices so if you want the 5th star in this rating - please give me the ability to work on a project across multiple devices. Or alternatively, to control where I save my project files.

Brilliant! Could do with a few updates!

InShot is a brilliant, helpful and multi purpose video editing software which - in my opinion - tops even the great, well known apps such as cap cut and iMovie. When using InShot, the possibilities are endless as to how you can create your video. I have been using InShot for around two years and updates come around every month or two.
There are just a few suggestions I would like to make to improve this almost perfect software; firstly, a ‘fade’ option to make photos/videos less vibrant or colourful. Secondly, to expand the fonts and drawing techniques and lastly, to add a animation aspect where you could animate using stop motion or FlipaClip techniques.
Overall an awesome video-editing software and I strongly suggest downloading!

The best editing app that shout really add more content

As a beatmaker trying to keep up with the age of attention and hooking an audience in 3 seconds or less, this app is the best tool in my pocket. I used to spend a lot of time making content like live performances and highly detailed videos. In this new age of attention, where the quality of the content doesn’t matter so much anymore, you need to get your ideas out quickly. I love this app and how easy it was to build content for my beats. So much that I don’t even need to be in the video, I just need simple special effects like the smoke, water and fire stickers. I time the water splash effect to sound like a kick drum, i slice the sticker and it looks so cool. I wish there were other effects, or to expand on those effects somehow. Maybe instead of the water splashing vertically, it can be done horizontally. Add something like eyeballs so I could give my beat machine an appearance. If they could make these they could make some other really cool effects. I love the filters and video effects like the retro effect. Great job with this app guys. Make more!

The Perfect Splice Alternative

For nearly two years, I’ve been using an app called Splice to make my videos, but recently they fell victim to greed and stupidity forcing a new policy where I have to pay just to save my own videos that I spent hours making basically robbing me of my work. Because of that, I ultimately decided to find a replacement and eventually I found this. I have to say, so far my experience has been spectacular. There is a large abundance of tools and features and all of the basic ones that I most often use are included with no paywall blocking my path to greatness. Overall this app is a huge Giga Chad, one thing I would like to gently critique is the row in which all of the tools lie. They are pretty close together with nothing separating them and since there are so much, it can at times be just a wee difficult to navigate around it. It’s nothing too brazy though, I can cope with this if I must.

I really hope you guys are racking in an exceptional amount of numbers because it would be very unfortunate for this app to suffer the same fate as Splice. God Bless.
