I ordered a taxi to get to the train station. I waited outside for 15 minutes, and the taxi didn’t even head in my direction. I had to order an Uber and almost missed my train.

Excellent service, friendly driver
Me and my 2 sons have just been collected from Tesco in Clay Cross. The driver was friendly and attentive, making sure my sons were safely fastened in before driving away. He was honest in telling us he needed to go a different route to what I would normally go due to the roads flooding.
On arrival at my home, the driver waited until we were safe in the house before driving away. He was a young lad, driving a Ford Mondeo with Hilltop Cars written in the side.
He is definitely an asset to your company.

App doesn’t send a two factor authentication code to your phone making it impossible to use the app

Gave up using it when it would not accept my card details, but if it is this bad it’s probably a good thing that I could not enter them

Don’t bother downloading
I booked a taxi on the app 2 hours prior to needing it, 10 mins after it was due I rang to find out how long it would be as there was no way of seeing it on the app, was told driver was dropping off in next village & would be 6-7 minutes, so this would’ve have made it 20 mins late, after 35 mins I rang again to be told they were busy & could see that I booked on the app so I wasn’t a priority! I asked where the taxi was that I was told would be picking us up from the previous phone call, I don’t know who told you that was the response so I asked how long I could expect to be waiting to be told I’ve no idea you’re not a priority as you booked on the app! I thanked them for ruining my night & put the phone down, the app immediately told me my taxi was cancelled! Thank goodness for city taxis who got someone to us in 20 mins, we were now an hour late to our friends wedding reception, missed the cutting of the cake & first dance so well done Aline, app now deleted will never use them again!!

Can’t add payment methods
This app works really well if you have cash to pay - but it won’t allow me to add any payment methods, which I need to do as I don’t carry cash. I keep getting an error telling me characters aren’t in the dictionary. It’s really frustrating.

I am absolutely disgusted with the office at Aline. I booked a taxi for 10 past 7 in the morning, and when I checked this app at 20 past 7 it hadn’t been dispatched. I even booked the taxi the night before I needed it, so they had plenty of time to sort me a taxi out. I then looked again on the app at 25 past 7, and they dispatched me a taxi that was 13 minutes away. I have to be at work for 7:30am. But, obviously people don’t have to be at work at certain times. I am fuming with Aline, and I definitely don’t recommend people to use them.

Works well but could be improved
It does work well, we have used it a few times but it could be improved. I book taxis in advanced by an hour or so. When I look back on my confirmed booking it doesn’t tell me what time iv booked it for. This is somthing I would like to see. If I booked it for ASAP it should state this on my current booking or the time I have booked it for. It does work and my taxi always comes but I believe this little change would improve it a lot and it would get 5* if this was done.

I have used A Line taxi for many years and never had a problem until they decided to introduce this app. Several times I used the app to make a booking and every time after the booking was confirm, literally around the time the taxi is supposed to arrive and pick me up I receive notification that the booking has been cancelled.
Please note that A Line Taxi's business infrastructure is not able to operate through an app as they do not have enough drivers to keep up with the demand. To make a booking, call them directly

Problem registering
Every time I go to register, I press submit and the whole app closes itself down. Done this so many times now and it’s a little frustrating that I can’t get past the first stage to get to use the app.

A new e-mail as forgotten otten my password on my original email and have tried to get it sorted their saying that they have sent me an email with it but to no avail as yet

I like using ALine Taxi. The app was shocking. Now this new today lot better, it's almost good as My City Taxi and Uber!!!!
