No accessibility with VoiceOver on iPhone or iPad
Cannot review this app at all. For a company that supposedly champions those 50 years old and older, people who have vision loss or who will lose vision, this app has no accessibility whatsoever. how can you ask older people and people with visual problems to sign up when your app has no accessible features. You can’t even go into the app and login with a username and password using VoiceOver, the app just won’t let you do it. I hope the publishers of this app will correct this atrocious situation sometime in the future. for all the technology we have today, including AI, this is a hard fail.

They are all too much and distracting from content. I also have to log in more than I’d like to view things.
Waste Of Time
Earning points for doing a quiz is nice… until AARP continues to offer the same quiz to you everyday and after you finish ~ it tells you that you’re NOT eligible for points because you already took it.
Plus, the screen repositions itself; creating an easy way for old people to make keystroke errors. All by design ~ they just want your attention and to waste your time here.

An absolute insult to senior citizens. Completely unusable.
For an organization that is supposed to advocate for older adults, AARP should be deeply embarrassed by this app. The design completely ignores basic accessibility standards.The text fields and password boxes are microscopic and incredibly frustrating to use. To make matters worse, if you try to increase your phone's system font size to actually see what you are doing, the app's poor scaling kicks in. The text boxes overlap, and the buttons get pushed completely off the screen, making it impossible to log in at all.You are forced to constantly log back in, only to fight with a broken interface that locks you out. The developers clearly did not test this app with real seniors. It is lazy, poorly coded, and a total piece of junk. Fix the scaling and make the font sizes readable!

Not good
The updates don’t allow users unable to afford newer phones to use the app so it’s useless to me. The updates will not allow use even if I go straight to the web site. 😔
Updated right out my iPad
Your upgrades have made your app useless on my iPad. And no options to choose a compatible version. I can't afford a new iPad. So I'll have to stop using AARP. Boo!
Not as Advertised
This app is not user friendly or easy to navigate. The pages take forever to load and often freeze the screen. The print is very small which I find ironic as AARP is typically associated with Seniors in mind. The settings menu was incredibly difficult to find and upon arrival it would not allow me access to customization options. In frustration, I attempted to downloaded the app on my iPad. That experience was even worse as the app has frozen within the initial setup sequence and I can’t access it at all. I was looking forward to enjoying the additional benefits offered with my membership but I have only wasted an entire afternoon without any real progress. Unless the developers make additional improvements, I don’t recommend wasting your time or storage space on this app.

Severely Broken
This app doesn't work. 1. It does not render correctly on iPad, the screen gets cut off in landscape orientation. 2. It keeps bugging the user to enter their phone number and says it is sending a code, but the code never arrives. Yes, I did double check my phone number was entered corrrectly.
Horrible over complication!
What should be a very simple process is made intentionally over complicated, and a major frustration! You have developed multiple applications with slightly different titles, which only adds to the confusion and unpleasant experience!
Apparently, AARP Now, is the first place to go, but is almost impossible to locate! Why, the big secrets- be more forthcoming, and simplify the process and directions!

Sometimes its over whelming it just keeps coming.
There are not enough hours in the day to read it all.
I love this app
This is how I keep informed on so many topics not just Social Security and Medicare but many other topics that we may not think about every day but have an effect on our daily lives. AARP helps to me expand my knowledge about things l need to enrich my life as a senior citizen. Thanks AARP.
Crashes a lot and features don’t work
AARP has never been able to get an app that consistently works. It crashes all the time, logged me out and then won’t let in, and many of the menus do not work. Even when it does work it’s very slow.
Travel Center hard to find info
Good deals, but finding your bookings on Expedia is a process and frustrating.
Worse app ever
I created a user and password verified through my email and then could not get on to the app.
Great content. Poor functionality.
The app has a lot of interesting and useful information and resources. The functionality leaves a lot to be desired. It’s very glitchy and the navigation is not intuitive. I signed up for the 30-day fitness challenge and have to search for it every time I want to do a workout. Signed up for a free AI course— good luck trying to find and launch it! When I did find it, it didn’t recognize that I was enrolled — until I enrolled again and it said “it looks like you’re already enrolled!” Umm…thanks? On that note, it keeps the annoying “enroll in auto renewal”banner persistent and it often follows your progress down the page, blocking content. It should recognize that I’m enrolled and leave me alone. Lastly, you can add another member to your account, so I added my husband. Or tried to. When I submitted his info, I got a message saying the name couldn’t be the same as mine. Huh? Closed that window of nonsense and tried again next day — his name was on the account. Sigh….
All in all, if you can tolerate and navigate around the nonsense it’s excellent content and worth the membership. Some things work better on a desktop or laptop and I’m sure the app will catch up eventually. I just feel bad for those folks that aren’t tech savvy because it’s gonna get old fast — no pun intended.

Tried to log on,took my password but it got to a screen that wants a 4 digit code but it will not let me access the keypad to put a code in
Too many ads
The app works fine and has good information but has way too many ads
Confusing
So many misdirects I felt like I had fallen into a Click-Bait website. 10 minutes to find and hit the right renew button that actually worked. Lots of good stuff overlooked for now because of this.
Games
I thought this site was for seniors, but they replaced a lot of the games for seniors with kid games.
