DONT get this unless you like the news
This app WOULD be great if you want to watch the news, but not for anything else.
There is no search bar!! I bet most people that download this are looking for bluey, but it’s NOT THERE! I don’t understand why tho, because bluey is such a popular show!

U can't search i downloaded to find something but i can't search for it!
Waste of everything
As soon as you open the app you’ll notice how many channels they have for the news. It has some shows but easily out numbered by the amount of news channels they have. I tried looking for a search bar but there’s nothing absolutely nothing going for this app. Just save your energy and don’t download this useless news application you’ll thank me later.

It was great until it stopped working in early November 2020. Still works on my iPhone though.
Please fix
I just got this app and wanted to watch something on abc kids, but I cannot find abc kids anywhere! I even looked in shows from A to Z, but the show was not there either! The name of the show is Bluey and I can find it on the website but I cannot watch it on there because it takes long to load. So please fix either the app or the website. Thank you in advance!

Hi wannabe. The content you will find on ABC Australia iview (our international app) is different from what you would be able to watch domestically if you were in Australia. This limitation is due to the content rights agreements we have in place.
Excitement turns to dust
What a treat this will be for an ex-pat! Alas, the content so beautifully displayed does not load. No sound, no video, just controls and then a black screen. Tried it on iPhone and iPad. Both failures. Tried rebooting and reinstalling. No go. Please ABC make this work.
Was wonderful when it worked
I gave four stars as it was excellent up to a few days ago. I was watching ABC shows from New York. I really appreciated the live news. It was so much better than relying on newspapers online.
Suddenly there is no sound or picture. Using Apple apps on phone and iPad. It loads ok and menu works, but no show will load. No error. It shows as loaded but then goes to a blank screen.

Happy little Aussie, oi, oi, oi!
I didn’t know how much I missed Australian Story and Aussie humour until I watched the show about the Russian choir from Mulengrad. FABULOUS. Well done ABC❤️❤️❤️
Great for expats, needs more programming
Happy that ABC thought about Aussie expats when developing this app. Has a decent amount of ABC produced programs, especially around news and some docs.
The one program that my kids really want is Play School. I’m really surprised that this isn’t available. I can’t thing there would be international rights issues on an ABC produced kids program.
