Minor bug fixes and improvements

Absolutely a Pain in the Caboose

It looks very nice but getting from page to page & area to area is SO DISJOINTED! Other things that are annoying is that it opens webpages in my browser… the map is untappable… and when I purchase screening tickets & make museum reservations (i’m a member), the don’t show up in the My Tickets section in the app even though I purchased them within the app. Absolutely my worst app experience & I LOVE MOVIES!

Academy Museum Motion Pictures App

Don’t bother. I bought an annual membership for myself and my son, “purchased” and downloaded the app, and set-up an account. I’ve bought tickets through the AMMP App, brought visiting family, and friends. Each time, the tickets in the AMMP App on my phone was insufficient, and, I was sent to the lobby info desk. Meanwhile . . . - The AMMP App has determined it has priority over all other apps on my iPhone, and, it has set itself up to appear every time I open my phone, and, always IN FRONT OF my Wallpaper, obscuring 80% of a family photo. I have been unsuccessful in my attempts to get it to go away. - When I DO open the AMMP App, it is my experience that it gives no priority whatsoever to members/account holders. Of scores of Apps on my iPhone the AMMP App is the ONLY one that has no Home Page Log/Sign-in button. One has to X (close) what the AMMP has decided is most important, find your way to a menu, and, scroll to “Account”. - A sign-in screen is displayed, however, the AMMP App does NOT remember user names or passwords, but, asks that you enter said data afresh. . . . well, I assume it’s afresh, but. . . - Having entered my username, hitting Return, tabs the curser into the empty password field, however, the AMMP App automatically pulls up the keyboard (because, not remembering the saved password, there is no prompt asking if you’d like to USE and input the saved password with a thumbprint authorization), AND . . . - . . . the keyboard COVERS the password field, so, no, you cannot simply copy & paste from your password list. You must enter the password manually EACH time. - Lastly, there is no Support or Help option anywhere in any menu in the App. I had to leave the AMMP App, go into the Apple App Store App (dodge all the ads for whatever Apple thinks would be a better use of my time, energy & $$ in this moment), open my Purchases, scroll to the AMMP App, click on that, and, then scroll down to App Support, a procedure that put RATE & REVIEW on my screen. So, I’m taking advantage of an opportunity I wasn’t even looking for! - It’s as if I were actually IN the museum, with a tech question for staff, or, for Customer Service. But, instead of being sent to the info desk, or The Gift Shop, I’m being told I must actually LEAVE THE MUSEUM, and, go to the Apple Store at The Grove, to have my AMMP concern addressed. Who sends their customers away from their merchandise, away from the point-of-sale, AWAY from their store and redirects them elsewhere hoping they’ll return? AMMP do!

Smooth but subpar user experience

The overall experience is smooth but subpar on some little details.

For example, when checking out as a guest, leaving the app then come back would not restart the whole check out flow from the begging without remember the information you already inputted. The password field requires advanced complex passwords but it won’t allow you to paste——a lot of us relies on 3rd party password managers to manage complex passwords.
