Well worth the money. We learned so much. The tour used gps and played as our car arrived to different locations.
Great way to explore for mobility-restricted individuals
I recently took my elderly parents to Acadia. Using this app while driving around the park allowed them to see and hear a lot without having to get out of the car!
Scenic Boat Tour
Great boat however too noisy for the narrated portion which was nonstop. Provided good opportunity to photograph 2 lighthouses and view of perimeter of Acadia National park.
Didn’t work very well
We downloaded the acadia tour and it worked on and off. When we would stop and walk around and then get back in the car to continue on, the app would repeat. I used another company’s app for big bend and it was great. I also used the Mt Washington app on this trip and it worked great as well. I’m not sure if I will buy another tour from Guide Along.

My new favorite way to travel!
This was great! Even without cell phone service, the gps feature worked well and the audio started at each point of interest. Interesting facts, history, and stories of the area. We enjoyed this so much that we downloaded an audio tour of the White Mountains in New Hampshire and took that tour the following day. I love this app!
