Frustrating to use
The app used to be very simple and quick to use. Very helpful while covering busy nights and needing quick access to specialty contact details. In the past couple of months, it has become more frustrating and laborious to access. Constantly asking me to confirm my role, login, advertising unwanted features like scribe… it is disruptive to use and at this point it may be quicker for me to just go through switch. Disappointing!

Shameful degradation in functionality
Shameful example of a large company buying out an actually useful application and effectively making it completely useless. Very sad. I miss induction.
No longer useful for hospital doctors
The old induction app was awesome and I had been using it since my first medical job 9 years ago. Now you can’t access it without using your nhs email - fair enough . You open it and each time it requires a secure code to verify your secure email - fair enough . Except that the secure code never arrives ! The whole point of using this as a doctor is to save time helping you find numbers quickly and avoid waiting ages to speak to switchboard . Freeing up time to actually serve our patients and do our job. Locking us in time wasting hoops to jump through makes this absolutely useless . Have now deleted the app.

Retrograde upgrade
Once a convenient and quick phone directory. Now a nightmare of unnecessary logins and 2FA
Technically Poor
Repeatedly logs you out. Send bunch of trash emails asking to grant permission to colleagues. Deleted the app and relying on the switchboard.
Annoying
It keeps signing me out. Then I need to sign in and ‘confirm my identity’. This is by text code authentication. My hospital is a black hole of signal so can’t confirm identity while actually at work making the whole thing f’in redundant
Cumbersome and unintuitive
Sadly the very useful, nimble and elegant Induction app got sold to Accurx. They then proceeded to tie it up with un-necessary functionality and security that duplicates not only what hospital intranets do in terms of function also the intractable complexity and unintuitive nature of hospital
Intranets that Induction offered such a sweet relief from. Now Induction has gone and we are left with just more spam and nonsense.

Keeps logging out
I have used induction app for many years never had a single problem. Accurx keeps logging me out & doesn’t even let me download my hospital directory. I have deleted this app now. Waste of time
🤬
What the help have you done to this app?!?!
It was originally called induction, a d it was brilliant. I used it multiple times a day to find extension numbers and bleep numbers ( both for my own trust, and when doing agency shifts around the country.
Then there was an update that ruined it and I suddenly had emails from colleagues to allow them access, purely because I was the first in our specialty post upgrade.
It was bought out by Accurx, and post this latest update is unusable!! I can’t even get into the app ( despite multiple passwords re-sets & MS authentication, non of which you needed for Induction).
Don’t download this app.
It’s completely Unusable.
I am now deleting it off my phone.

Defeated the original purpose
For a decade, the Induction app was the go to for bypassing switchboard and saving time for all healthcare professionals. Accurx has completely ruined that for GPs now by blocking their access to internal hospital numbers with this new update and rebrand. So instead of finding the bleep number for the surgical registrar and calling directly you now have to wait 10 mins to connect to switchboard first. Horrible move from a large company to take over a larger group of users and ruining the original use of the app.

Suddenly useless
Since changing from switch to Accurx the app is so much worse. The UI is almost unnavigable and overly complex. People just want a simple phone directory like we used to have
On a authentication loop!
Unable to use app as it continuously attempts to verify mobile number.
Slow
Since this app has been taken over it has become bloated and slow. Most users just want access to their hospital directory and do not need PIN codes and Face ID or any of the other features. Please split this into two apps.
Needs update
The security causes a lot of delays while in hurry to look for directory
Very useful app
Quite useful for NHS staff.
Not Working
Not working suddenly
App not working
Really helpful app, but now since using my new iphone the app doesn’t want to work. Tried to reset password. Tried to sign up with new email. Deleted app. Downloaded again. But no success. Really need this app to survive!! Please help!
Shame it’s changing
Good, but such a shame the private codes and numbers are being removed, there are so many private numbers that people may not want public and it was really useful storing them here as well as codes. Will need to find another app
No longer free to use
Team have started charging trust
After info was input my members and numbers up to day unless you hospital pays this app is now useless to you.
