Seamless Control, One Feature Suggestion

The ADI-2 Remote app is a fantastic addition for ADI-2 users! Finally, the ability to control this incredible DAC remotely via macOS, Windows, or iPad adds unmatched convenience. The intuitive interface makes EQ adjustments, volume control, and device configuration seamless. It’s clear that RME listened to its customers, and the result is outstanding. My one suggestion: please integrate firmware updating directly into the app to eliminate the need to switch to macOS or Windows for updates. That feature would make an already near-perfect app absolutely flawless. Thank you, RME, for continuing to improve and support the ADI-2 lineup so thoughtfully!

This is fantastic, and so convenient, only 1 suggestion

You can control just about anything. When having to warranty out the ADI-2, its so easy to just set this back up with this app. My one suggestion: The UI could be improved a lot. The knobs work like sliders, but aren’t sliders. How about when you click on the knob, a visual slider bar appears so its easier to adjust? Or a picker element?
Even better, let us click on the numeric value and just enter the number.

Definitely interesting

I like the idea of this app because doing the eq from the device can be tedious. However I connect my PC to my RME via the USB port so unless my motherboard has optical out which it probably doesn’t I don’t really see how I can adjust and test settings. It means in future designs there will hopefully be Bluetooth connectivity for an app such as this or multiple usb connectors.

This is a Game Changer

There is no other DAC that has the capabilities of the ADI-2 DAC fs *AND* has a software program on multiple platforms that can save, restore, and change the state of the device in real-time, all while playing music over the same USB connection. The visualization of almost every setting of the device in well-designed graphics, and the ability to make changes with a touch interface, reduces the complexity of the on-device menu structure by orders of magnitude. Thanks RME (and MC)!
