A scam
Predatory tactics to keep customers
Missing basic features
A year later this review is still how I feel about Lightroom no ability to search via camera for raw photos.or batch rename files.
Edited to add, this program is no longer usable for me as I have filled up the space on the cloud and filled up the space on the iPad, they lack of ability to store photos anywhere but adobe cloud or in the app makes it unusable, I would like to be able to save photos in the files section or on an external hard drive so that 8 can edit them on the iPad, I much prefer to edit on the iPad but without the option of external storage it is simple not possible, and yes it also still annoys me that I can’t do simple meta data searches.

No Email Support, Broken Forum Posting, and Missing Pro Features
Even after reaching the correct page, such as the feature suggestion section, the submission system itself is unreliable. The “Create a post” button is difficult to locate and not positioned near the posts where users would expect it. The “Looking for suggestions…” button, intended to check for duplicate requests, frequently hangs and never loads, preventing the post from being submitted at all. In my case the page simply stalled and would not allow the post to go through, meaning I could not even submit the suggestion after completing the entire process.
This adds yet another layer of friction to what should be a straightforward feedback process. After finally reaching this forum, users are expected to understand posting rules, search through thousands of threads and comments to avoid duplicates, and participate in a voting system. For many people trying to submit feedback in the middle of their editing workflow, this is unrealistic. Most users do not have the time to review large numbers of existing posts, recruit others to vote, or track forum etiquette just to communicate a product issue. Product feedback should not depend on navigating a forum system.
Lightroom CC is a professional subscription product. A simple public email address for Lightroom product feedback would allow users to communicate suggestions efficiently without navigating multiple pages and authentication steps.
Two requests:
1. Numeric tone curve entry in Lightroom CC (especially on iPad). The tone curve currently requires dragging points on a graph. Exact input/output values cannot be typed, and on iPad the numbers are not visible at all. This makes it difficult to reproduce tone curves or build consistent presets.
2. Full People masking on Lightroom CC for iPad. Desktop CC allows masks for skin, hair, eyes, lips, clothing, and other detailed selections. On iPad masking is often limited to broader selections such as subject or background. The same segmentation tools should exist on the iPad version.
