Helpful tips! Helped me in Mykonos!
Our party of 4 had a fairly pleasant experience using Aegean Taxi. The app is surprisingly easy to use and not dissimilar to using Uber with a few caveats, which I’ll list here:
1) you pay after finishing your ride, like all other Taxis on the island;
2) the app doesn’t show your driver’s ETA after confirming you’ll be picked up, instead a car icon will be shown en-route to you on the map;
3) I used a popular spot for Taxi drop off and pick-up in Little Venice and there were no issues — look at a local Mykonos map to find the taxi drop off / pickup spot;
4) I was asked to sign a waiver before our ride started, I’m sure this is standard but it was all in Greek so I don’t know;
5) There are multiple options for the type of ride — by economy car, van, boat, etc. we chose van.
Overall the experience with the app was pleasant. You’re not required to give much information up-front other than your cell phone number, name, and phone location.

Terrible app
Don’t bother they don’t tell you if driver rejects booking
Scam
Refuses to use the taxi meter, charges 3x the prices displayed on their site, and tried to tell you the fixed price is better, just another way for bad people in this country to rip off tourists, they should all go out of business.
Unreliable
I pre booked a taxi for 7:30 AM as I had an appointment collect my son from Rhodes the airport via hire car. I received confirmation via the app the previous evening of who the taxi driver would be. On the morning, no taxi arrived. I attempted to contact someone through the telephone number which was not answered. After waiting for 15 minutes past the scheduled pick up time a different cab had to be ordered via alternative company. The whole scenario made me very late. I have received no communication, explanation or apology despite writing an email and message via instagram. Avoid using this app and book taxi’s via more reliable methods.

Aegean Taxi App
Downloaded this app for our trip to Santorini and ordered a taxi. The taxi accepted our ride request and never showed and then requested $35??!
Super expensive
Prices are more than triple those of traditional taxis.
Not possible to add cards
You just get an empty screen telling you to “Add your card details” but there’s no way to actually do it
Most Convenient Taxi App for Mykonos
We used this application multiple times a day, everyday during our stay in Mykonos and it was fantastic every time. The customer service is fantastic and the drivers were all great. We heard it’s a bit of a nightmare to get taxis on the Greek Islands but that wasn’t the case with this app. Worth noting it’s possible to pre book too which is a lifesaver.

Sofia is the best
Service was simply perfect: Sofia was friendly, precise and careful.
Never received the SMS to register
Tried 2 different numbers and waited 15 minutes for both, the SMS never arrived so could not use the app
Great Taxi app for most Greek islands
We used the Aegean taxi app in Mykonos and Santorini and works well. Great prices and clean new cars. Also arranged an airport transfer for Athens
Overpriced, slow taxis
Nearly 2x the price of any other taxi on the island - the app said the driver was “1 min away” for over 15 minutes. Avoid
Best Taxi app for Mykonos and Santorini
The taxi app works great in both Santorini and Mykonos and its the easiest way to get a taxi or transfer. Cars are clean, drivers friendly and speak English, and they have the cheapest taxi prices. They work 24/7 and have a driver available in 5 minutes. The customer support team is also available at all times to help.
