Could use improvements

The app generally works well with the home gym. However, to be even more useful for those of us who travel a lot and can’t carry gym equipment with us, or who don’t always stay in places with good gym equipment, it would be nice if the Bodyweight Moves section of the app had the same short video clips as the home gym (either embedded or downloadable via WiFi) showing what the moves are supposed to look like. It would also be nice if we could access a personal custom bodyweight move program already saved on the home gym. The only way to make this accessible while traveling now is to take videos of the videos on the home gym with my iPhone or iPad.

Not completely disappointed, but kinda

This gym looks futuristic, but the tech seriously gets in its own way. Custom AI programs have to download before every workout, and the system stops in between while loading. It’s basically buffering—except instead of watching a video, you’re holding weight. That’s not just annoying, it actively breaks momentum and feels poorly thought out.

Bluetooth reliability is bad, and that’s a major problem because almost all accessories rely on Bluetooth just to start, stop, or control resistance. When the connection lags or drops, everything does. For a system this dependent on tech, that’s a fundamental flaw, not a minor bug.

The most frustrating part is the wasted potential of the screen. It’s massive, but functionally it’s either cycling photos, turned off, or acting as a giant mirror. I understand the idea, but it feels like a complete waste. There’s no real customization! no widgets, no notepad or whiteboard, no integrated reminders.

For something this tech-heavy, the lack of integration is especially stupid. No Apple Health syncing, no calendar integration, no reminders. For a “smart” gym, it feels shockingly disconnected and unfinished.

The hardware is solid and the concept is strong, but the software feels half-baked. Right now, the tech interrupts the workout instead of enhancing it. As it stands, it’s a three-star experience.

SIMPLE, EASY, CAPABLE, RELIABLE

This app works so well with the AI powered AEKE K1 Smart Home Gym. It is straightforward, easy to use, reliable, and syncs quickly with the gym. Looking forward to more updates from the AEKE team.

Looking forward to the arrival of my Aeke K1

I tried this app one more time, and it seems the team has fixed the previous bugs as they said, which is great. I can't wait for my K1 to arrive so I can use it together.

Great experience

I re-downloaded the app and was happy to see that they've fixed the previous bugs. It's clear that the team is really dedicated to improving the experience. I'm excited to receive my K1 soon.
