Terrible
The people running the server no longer trade so this app is useless. The support from Thermotec AG and electarad has been appalling. Very expensive radiators that you can no longer access outside of the house. Do not buy!!!!
Simply not good enough
This app hardly works, so:
If you use it and then close it, the next time you load it it will seam fine till you ask it to update something then it will 100% crash and you’ll need to start over.
The mobile capabilities stopped working completely 2 months ago and now it only works if your on you same Wifi so I cannot use it to warm my house up before I get home.
If your connected to WiFi and you have the rather expensive but very cheaply made WiFi connector it can work fairly well but the app is not build to handle any signal loss meaning if the house signal is off you just get stuck waiting for a good bit for it to tell you. Then you keep clicking again and again to try, but eventually you will get it to work.
It forces you to sync with all the heaters to check the app and the heaters are all the same, but again if a heater does not connect it fails and you need to do it all again.
This app works on a technical sense hence the one star but fails across the board where it matters.

waste of time
spent thousands of pound’s on a heating system that this useless app is supposed to control. doesn’t work should be getting sued
Clunky, buggy, end-of-life
Very clunky and idiosyncratic app. It crashes frequently each time you try executing a second function. The back-end servers are now completely dead, so it will only operate on your local network (i.e. when you’re at home).
Due to the servers being down, Alexa integration has stopped working completely (one of the key selling points of the radiators I purchased).

Doesn’t work
I have reset the system multiple times, initialised programs, reprogrammed, deactivated and reactivated again, but the simple fact of the matter is that none of the heaters turn on.

L’appli beuh énormément lorsque je programme tous les modules via l’application et les nomes l’application m’exige la synchronisation et me supprime tout cela fait plus d’une fois je dois chaque fois refaire la programmation de plus je ne sais plus ajouter de module si je ne synchronise pas donc d’un côté ou de l’autre je suis bloqué

Überarbeitung notwendig
Hier haben einige Kunden schon wichtige Tipps gegeben, was die App zu wünschen übrig lässt, wie zB in der Programmierung mehr als 6 Heizzyklen zuzulassen, unterschiedliche Programmierungen speichern und ablegen zu können, aber auch grundsätzliches, wie regelmäßige Abstürze der App, oder willkürliche Veränderung der Einstellungen zu beheben.
Ich finde es unverschämt und den Heizungen nicht angemessen, dem Kunden so eine unausgereifte App anzubieten, vor allem, da sie auch noch durch die Anschaffung des Routers teuer erkauft werden muss

Dinosaurier Software
Instabil, stürzt ab, Programmierungsmöglichkeiten wie zu Beginn des Computerzeitalters. Die betreffenden Aspekte wurden von Usern hier zur Genüge benannt, Thermotec scheint das nicht zu interessieren. Meine nächsten Heizungen werde ich bei anderen Herstellern ordern. Und ich benötige noch einige.

Die App ist leider kaum zu gebrauchen. Regelmäßige Abstürze unter iOS 17.3.1 auf iPhone 13.
Die Funktionen sind sehr eingeschränkt. z.B. kann man in der App den Boost Modus nicht anwenden. Auch eine Anzeige der aktuellen Leistungsaufnahme wäre wünschenswert.
Beim Aktivieren und Deaktivieren von Programmen hängt sich die App jedes Mal auf.
Über den notwendigen Netzwerk-Hub hat man 0,0 Kontrolle. Kein Webinterface, keine Logs, keine spezifischen Netzwerkeinstellungen, …
Bei Ihren Produkten bewerben Sie die Kombination von Elektroheizung und Photovoltaikanlage als eine Möglichkeit der „vollständigen Autarkie vom Energieanbieter“. Das kann ich aber nur erreichen, wenn meine Elektroheizung mit dem Wechselrichter kommunizieren kann und nur die überschüssige Energie nutzt.
Hier ist viel Potential!! Davon mache ich auch abhängig noch weitere Heizkörper zu kaufen. Grundsätzlich wäre es in unserem Gebäude möglich vollständig umzusteigen. Dazu müssen aber die Smarten Funktionen bereitgestellt werden.

Useless app to match the poor quality heaters.
This app is useless as it constantly crashes and has done in the 2 years I have been using it. I would avoid this and I would also avoid the ElectroRad radiators as well. After having the screen fail and need replacement the same heater will now not communicate with the other. This after only 2years of limited use!

Funktioniert soweit zur meiner Zufriedenheit. Allerdings wäre es schön, wenn ich die App auch auf dem Handy meiner Frau installieren könnte, da Installation und Konfiguration nur auf einem Gerät möglich ist…
Vollkommen unbrauchbar
Die App stürzt immer mal wieder ab oder es ist keine Verbindung zum Server möglich absolut unbrauchbar ich würde das ganze nicht noch mal kaufen ich betreibe 3 Heizungen seit ein par Jahren und in 80 % der Versuche die Heizung im Büro über die App von zu Hause zu steuern klappt es nicht

Brilliant
Brilliant app. Finally have it working properly simply by turning off “Private Wi-Fi Address” in your phones Wi-Fi settings. I can even access it over my mobile data which I haven’t been able to do since it stopped working a couple of years ago. No crashing or “impossible to connect” nonsense anymore. Great to have full control over your heating during this cost of living crisis!

Server connection problems
Connecting remotely is a matter of chance. It doesn’t work more often than it does. Error messages at 99% of tries. Problem especially acute on Android devices. On iOS the app crashes after every period of inactivity. After the restart works locally but only occasionally through server. This software is seriously bugged.

Gateway benötigt Firmware Update
Viele werden gemerkt haben, dass das Gateway nicht erreichbar ist. Das liegt daran dass der Server bei Thermotec umgestellt worden ist und das Modul eine neue Firmware benötigt. Bekommt man über Thermotec. Dann läuft alles wieder.

Leider seit Monaten nicht mehr Online zu benutzen.
Die Temperatur muss leider durch 0,5 grad schritten per klicken gesenkt werden. Ein ziehbalken wäre da wohl smarter wenn man mal 20 grad runter will muss man 40 mal klicken…
