Why is this on my iCloud?!

Similar to the review posted on this topic, I never download this app and it remains on my iCloud unwelcome and will not delete

Won’t delete from iCloud

I never downloaded this to my phone, as I don’t have anger problems and I’m not a vet, yet 1.8 KB of application data has mysteriously shown up in my iCloud storage folder and won’t delete no matter what. Eventually I did what it said on Apple tech support and downloaded the app for the first time in order to turn off iCloud backups and then delete the app and application data, but this also didn’t work. I’m very sketched out by an app created by the government suddenly appearing in my encrypted cloud storage and being undeletable, though hopefully it’s just a bug with iCloud.

Messed up app

I tried to use the app and started typing a trigger then pressed enter and now it's stuck in the app. Quite ironic when you consider what the app is designed for. I would suggest allowing users to delete any items that they enter into the app.

Great app but needs work

The app anger log starts with triggers. I understand from my anger management work that triggers are general things that over time will illuminate my anger issues like “I didn’t feel respected.” There needs to be a preentry like what actually happened in the anger event, prior to asking about more generalized triggers. That will help me filter down later and see patterns. Also add an additional section towards the end about exploring root causes.

Amazing Idea But Needs Work

I am in love with the idea that AIMS was built off of, I believe that this app would help anyone who took the patience to use it. With a focus on your mental health, the app provides both tools and resources to help users cope with their anger. This is an app that is primarily for soldiers or veterans but I believe that anyone who suffers from any kind of anger management issues can benefit from using AIMS. This app’s visual appeal definitely leaves room for improvement as the simplistic designs don’t really engage with the audience. Moreover, certain attributes of this app is yet to be fully developed and it has a habit of freezing and glitching when you click on it. I believe that the app would definitely benefit from having a more personalized approach where they understand each user’s specific needs and tailoring the app to those needs.

Not for iPhone

Nearly every page of text is truncated - can’t see it all. It gives one page and stops in the middle of the thought with no way to scroll or get another page.
Typical VA garbage. Oops, showing my anger again

Exceptional

This is the best organized and easy to use app I’ve found and wish I would have found it years ago. Because the flow of input makes sense and it is easy and clear I use it - which makes it effective. I hope investments continue in it to remove any persistent glitches.

helped me out a lot, i really recommend

this app is great. there are some bugs like crashing that need fixing, but this app helped me out a lot. it’s great to organize thoughts with. i have CHR syndrome and major depressive disorder which used to cause me anger issues, and this app was a great source to help me cope and gain skills to manage my anger.

Good but could be better

There's some really helpful information and resources on the app but it's not always complete.
Quite a few sentences randomly end leaving you wondering what's missing. Didn't anyone edit this for thoroughness and clarity?

App has promise but needs to be checked

The app is missing a lot of info, sentences remain incomplete. Should be quick fixes that VA can make

End a sentence please

This app is helpful but almost every sentence is incomplete on my iPhone 11. I have to fill in a lot of blanks which makes my angry. Please fix!!!

Does not work on IPAD

I’m away from my home, and only have an IPAD, as many others have stated this does not work on a mobile device, Even at home I prefer to use a mobile device but can’t

App Has Bugs in iOS

I’m doing this thing on an iPad. In the “LEARN” section, the first three articles (that’s all I’ve read so far) have significant portions of the content clipped off. This forces you to guess how the sentences would end, which is probably not what the developers intended. I’m not angry though. Just disappointed. Fix it, guys!

Trash

This app is trash it makes me even angrier than I already am what kind of idiot would make it how when I have to put in the time it won’t let me put it in this app is trash waste of my time and space this don’t deserve Any stars screw this app

I like it, but there’s a major issue

I can’t use the anger log. When I get to step 7, the last step, the app closes. It’s super frustrating

Amazing

Helped me cope with my anger so much.

Looks like a nice app - please fix it

Glitches every time I attempt a guided meditation. Restarts me after a random time period. It is the antithesis of an anger management tool.

Flexible helpful tool for anger management in adult autism

I found this app after reading an article in the medical literature about the effectiveness of simple interventions such as an anger thermometer and anger log for people who have Asperger’s (Autism Spectrum Disorder level 1). I have ASD and alexithymia (difficulty recognizing/ distinguishing my emotions) and this app has the precise tools that are likely to be effective based on the research I read. It has already proven, after a short period of use, to be helpful for me in identifying what triggers my anger and what signs indicate growing anger before I have an outburst.

My suggestion for improving it would be, make it possible for users to edit or delete our own additions to the lists of triggers, emotions, sensations, etc. Or, if it already has this capability, make it more evident how to do so. Thanks.

Love but crashes

I love the meditations. These are the best/most effective ones I’ve tried. But it’s also very stressful because they crash literally every time I use them. I don’t think I’ve made it through one meditation without having to restart it at least once. Sometimes 2 or 3 times. Very frustrating.

Godsend

This app is truly amazing. I seriously don’t understand why someone would give it a 1/5. It not only abolishes my anger but has improved my relationships with my family members. If you are struggling with anger issues I strongly recommend this app. While it may not be for everyone, it certainly is for me.
