App not working

The app shows the Bluetooth connection but the battery indicator is always at 100%. Makes the app useless

Review

Works great in my Florida pool! I have a “bean”-shaped in-ground pool and I purposely let it get a little-along on cleaning to test the Aiper 3000. I received this pool cleaner three days ago, topped off the charging for about 1.5 hours and let it run in the pool via the Aiper iPhone App. Worked flawlessly! Used setting Floor (x3) + Wall (x1) on first and second day to get all the stuff off the floor of the pool. First day’s cleaning got most of it. Second day’s cleaning got the rest. I’m running the Aiper 3000 today with Floor (x1) + Wall (x1) and it really scrubs the walls on this setting! I wish I could upload videos of Aiper 3000’s work as its all over the pool cleaning. I’ve gotta say I used to hate going out every week, scrubbing the walls and floor of the pool, connecting a hose to the pump, cleaning the pool, opening the pool filter, cleaning the pool filter, and installing it back together. Based on the cleaning ability of Aiper 3000, I should only need to clean the filter once every 1-2 months and a 5 minute scrub of areas around the pool steps, pool bench, and tight crevices.

Negative comments are minor but mostly are about the iPhone Aiper App: Actual Aiper 3000 battery indication is not at all accurate; the App needs to be restarted every time I’ve shut off the Aiper 3000 and turned it back on.

Recommendations:

1. Fix the App to work better with the device to include accurate battery indication and connectivity.
2. Give more options for pool cleaning: Floor (x1) + Wall (x3); Floor only.
3. Notify the App user when battery is depleted so I don’t need to keep looking outside to see if the Aiper 3000 is no longer cleaning.

Overall assessment: Excellent value for the money, great cleaning job, and simple operation with the associated App.
