Appointment refresh ?

I’ve found the app easy to use. Easier than the SystmOne beforehand. I’ve a question though which I can’t seem to pose in any other way - what ( if anything ) do I need to do to view newly added appointment slots the surgery has just added for patients to book ? My surgery is notoriously bad for its appointment availability and it’s always a race to get one, literally down to being uploaded one minute and gone the next ! So, do I have to e.g. close the app down and re-open it, browse a different day and then instantly come back to the date I’m looking to book, or simply stay on the day I’m looking to book and all new slots will appear before my very eyes. Cheers in advance 😊👍

WiFi usage

Hi
I really do like this app as with really bad anxiety and being outside by myself I think it’s the best thing since sliced bread.
The only problem is you can only use it with only WiFi now and back when it was first in circulation you could look at your record and also book appointments but you can’t even do that now! I have problem’s with my phone connecting to my WiFi at times and it has happened when I’ve needed to order my medication. Can you try figure a way to put into place on you’re next update where you can use you’re own phone data to book’s appointment’s look at you’re notes and order repeat prescriptions.
Other than that I love it. I just get confused as to why you can’t understand why you can’t use your data to do these things in your app.
Thanks 😁

Excellent

I don’t understand all the negative reviews, because this app works perfectly for me on iPhone 13. I can see all individual test results going back decades, displayed in graph form so it is easy to compare past and present. All the blood chemistry and pathology results are there, with lots of historical data. It even shows the anticholinergenic cognitive burden score, a measure of the risk of cognitive decline caused by medication interactions. I guess somewhere along the line collaboration with gp surgeries or NHS is required for all features to work, and without that the app wouldn’t be of any use. But for me it is perfect.

Terrible start

I signed up to the app as instructed and firstly there is the confusion as to do I use my existing NHS credentials, or do I creat an new log in. It is also not made clear what NHS/personal information will be “sucked” into the App. Having registered and requested a physio appointment, I received a message informing me that I had a questionnaire to complete in the App. Signed in and there is no form or message. I tried to create a message, but apparently that service does not subscribe to messaging and neither does my GP surgery!
After a good old telephone conversation with the relevant department I was given a time and date that someone will call me to compile the questionnaire and was informed that they are aware of issues with the App. So why has it been released for general use, if it has glitches? Do I keep it or bin it!!

Long time user

I’ve had this app for years even before the surgeries got on board with it. It’s come a long way and only is as good as it is used by surgeries but nowadays I think it’s the norm as surgeries were told to get on board with modernising and moving away from records being “DOCTOR’S records” when in fact they’re patient records that doctors have privileges accessing. I have had critical illness and therefore it’s important I have access to my records and I use the messaging function to communicate with my GP instead of calling- I’ll add a note for her and she’ll get in touch and respond! Obviously that’s GP specific. I like that I can see consultations, check referrals are made, see old notes and immunisation dates. This denotes the need for paying for access to your own records for medical etc. Obviously use with caution in terms of sharing information! Love this app.
Only suggestion is; that it imported your information from apple health or watch etc
