Annoying. Go away.

I don’t want to have to create an account to use my stupid A/C. Just get lost. If I want big brother running my home, I’ll ask. Until then, stop interfering with the operation of the system, by trying to get people off the Touch5 Console.

Terrible experience

No other way to describe it, this app roll out has been an unmitigated disaster. Have tried to use this app multiple times and have defaulted to the old app - which despite its simpleness just works.

Hate the fact that I have to log in now. The previous app was simpler. I understand the rationale for the change but gee it’s terrible. Whatever you do, do not turn off the old app support or else I might be looking elsewhere other than AirTouch. Rubbish.

Thanks for the feedback. AirTouch Home is a newly designed experience with a focus on the entire home and smart devices. AirTouch 5 is still available if you are looking for smart heating and cooling only at this point. Your comments about account setup, connection status and same Wi-Fi pairing are helpful. Our developers are actively working on these issues. We are aiming to address this with the next app update.

AirTerrible

A massive step backwards from AirTouch 5 for control of AC systems. Very disappointing.

Can’t connect to phone

Unfortunately it seems with this app on the console you cannot connect the app on your phone. It blocks the IP address no matter what you do. AirTouch 5 connects automatically. Wasted 2 hours trying. Very disappointing

Cannot use after update

Have just updated the app and now I try and access the app and it won’t connect keeps coming up saying connection error make sure your device is connected to the internet and try again. Please fix this asap

Great upgrade

I was worried when reading the negative reviews but I’ve had no issues with this app and believe it is a significant upgrade from the Airtouch 5 App.

Rubbish

They forced me to download this by disabling air touch 5. They said you can use both app but air touch 5 is unusable because they disabled connection to the Internet. New app is completely rubbish. You can’t even set the timer On or Off at the same time and you can’t choose correct time ( you need to go in 1 hour increment)like old app. Please provide fix to use old air touch 5. Why would you go from
perfect app to this unusable rubbish is beyond me

Hello and thank you for your comments. AirTouch Home is not a forced updated. You have the option to swap between AirtTouch 5 and AirTouch Home at any time through settings and the selection of Home is optional for those who seek a broader smart home device focus. There’s is no option for us to disable your internet connection to the console remotely, we recommend to confirm your WiFi settings between devices. Regarding your expressed setup experiences, we’d love to assist you with the onboarding and set up. Please create a ticket at https://help.airtouch.net.au/get-in-touch. Our AirMates are here to help.

Device forced me to download it

Device forced me to download this app by not allowing me to access Airtouch 5 on my phone. This came at a very inconvenient time when I had just settled my 3 and 0 year old.
New app is rubbish- also will not connect on phone app.
Airtouch system has been totally inferior to our old Myair system. Unless things change dramatically I would avoid and not install this system again.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. The AirTouch Home System is not a forced update and you have the option to swap between AirTocuh 5 for air control and AT Home for a broader smart home focus. This can be done through settings. App does not connect to air conditioner wall unit at all

My wall lcd unit completed an update and suddenly none of my iOS devices will connect remotely to my ac. Removed and reinstalled the app and it just crashes and tells me to restart it. Extremely annoying, have not been able to use app for over a month now.

Hi there. Thank you for leaving us a comment. Could you please share further details through a dedicated support ticket? You can create a ticket at: https://help.airtouch.net.au/get-in-touch

Glitchy

Doesn’t load at all on iPhone, yet continuously sends me notifications that the temp in a zone has changed 2 degrees in 10mins (it hasn’t). Reverting back to the old app that actually works.

The update made it worsee

The new version looks great visually, but the interface can be confusing and difficult to navigate at times. Also, one of the biggest issues is that the timer function doesn’t always work properly — even after setting a timer, the system sometimes fails to turn off as expected.

Update fail

My aircon tablet kept telling me there was an update available so I updated.

It deleted all of our routines, which has taken months to perfect. Worst still, now our phones can’t connect to the system so we’ve lost remote access. App Store has no update available for our phones do not sure where the disconnect is here.

Hi Clare, We haven't seen this behaviour in testing or had any prior reports of this. If possible could you please create a support ticket through help.airtouch.net.au/get-in-touch? We want to help and hope to have a closer look at your situation. Thank you.

User unfriendly

The process to set up a schedule for a specific time of day to turn on and off is so convoluted…. Gone are the days where on the previous version I could just set an on/off time, day and what I wanted on including variables on one screen without having to go through the “routine” option now-which MAKES NO SENSE!

Hello. We'd love to walk you through the AT Home setup step by step and show how app can help you to manage a broader smart home device focus at your home. Please reach out through help.airtouch.net.au/get-in-touch. If you are interested in air control only, you have the ability to change back to AT5 via settings.

Fix the constant reload

App design is good but it is terribly glitchy, on the wall unit it continually says unable to load and if I have the 30min timer on 50/50 it will glitch out and aircon will run all day. Can’t go back to the old app as when I do after a day it pushes the home app back. Something that was so good a few years ago is terrible, don’t worry about the bells and whistles and widgets just make the basic function work.

Hi Pete. AirTouch 5 remains available for direct smart air control. AirTouch Home focuses on a broader smart home control approach. Here’s a link to more information https://www.airtouch.net.au/airtouch-home/.

Terrible experience

Airtouch have dramatically changed their app for the worse. The old app was easy to navigate, easily seeing mode, fan and zone controls. Now it’s impossible to find where you can adjust fan speeds and a touch of the main button turns the system off rather than allowing you to access further options such as mode and fan speed. Would love to go back to the old app.

Pointless and doesn’t work

My air touch 5 controller tablet prompted me to switch to this new app. Can’t adjust any temperatures without it reverting back to 18 degrees in every room. No such issue with the air touch 5 app. I registered my email and location to use the new AirTouch home app and now I think it was just so they could data mine me.

Hi there, We'd happy to walk you through the broader AT Home smart device setup one-on-one. For that, kindly reach out to us via help.airtouch.net.au/get-in-touch. If you want to simply use AirTouch 5 again, you can change back in the settings. Best regards

Poorly designed app

The interface is like a child created this. It’s an absolute joke. I came from using a Sensibo unit with my wall mounted split system which I was very happy with. If I could go back to using that I would.

TMES Electrical and this app

Don’t use either 40k for air con and junk software

Very glitchy

Doesn’t stay as main app on main controller-reverts back to AirTouch5 despite setting it as the default app. Slow response time, functions from temp to air flow slow to respond/adjust and klunky…. Don’t like how I have to tap on each individual room just to adjust temp/air flow- very annoying…. Had to reinstall on iPhone as it logged me out and would not accept correct login details- honestly- pointless upgrade- main thing missing is you cannot control air-con remotely- you always have to be on the same network- really behind technologically-not impressed.
