Reliability
All cards on the account have “maintenance” at the same time and without warning. I have been late on bills and unable to pay for necessities because of this. This “maintenance” takes days.

I received this card digitally and it has proved impossible to use at stores as they refuse to accept it because of previous fraud issue and to use it online it is rejected. May be better to have the actual card.

I have never used a banking system like this before until I received an incentive from the state of Florida.
Every time I have tried to transfer the funds to my regular bank account, there is ALWAYS a technical issue. I have to ALWAYS call customer service and it usually takes an hour or so to get the problem resolved. They have had to create a new card for me several times.
I don’t understand why the state of Florida will not just deposit the money into my bank account!

This app is pretty useless. You cant apple pay anywhere and it also doesnt let you send money to an external account.
Hard to get your money
It drives me insane that I cannot transfer my Akimbo balance to my bank account. The $1000 limit is seriously inconvenient.
Excellent prepaid card ap
Love it! - Best prepaid card money management solution. I use it to fund all my children’s game purchases and allowances. They get a card with their name on it and I control their spending.

This app crashes a lot when i open it and try to submit my government documents so idk what to do but this app is not it! If any dev out there can fix this, that would be amazing!

Worst app I’ve ever used
I have never used an app with more issues as this one. It took me at 4 times trying to reset my password and log in to register my card. I finally was able to complete those steps. Then I transferred additional funds to the card, which completed successfully, then tried to log back into the app to verify the total amount. And yet again I keep getting the error message. I’ve reset my password several times, which the process works. But it still won’t let me log in. I am beyond frustrated. Please fix this.

Customer service can make or break a company…..their customer service is horrific!!! App is terrible too!!
Great way to help kids build sound money-management practices.
Easy to manage; works great at a variety of stores. We load some funds onto the cards twice a year and that’s the kids’ clothing allowance.
