Excessive updates

Every time I open this app to us it I have to update it. Why every mth makes no senses and is so annoying

Confused to use

Confused to understand the terms and every small amount of claims needed to submit a photo as supporting, which is really inconvenient. Just protect insurance company’s interest but ignoring client’s satisfaction.

No longer works

Used to be a good apo but since June 2026 it doesn’t work. I did all suggestions the website suggest & crashes after sign in.

Easy to use

Always easy to submit claim and add appropriate documentation

Freezing

Something has happened to this app. It WAS excellent but now it freezes. It won’t let me go past “we are getting things ready for you”. I have deleted the app and reinstalled. Still doing the same thing. Very frustrating!

Super User Friendly

This app is incredibly easy to navigate and I find response times to be impressively swift. Also always easy to reach someone to discuss a question about benefits.

Terrible app

Double enters things and so inconsistent the values reimbursed

Terrible

Can never get it to work try to sign in says it’s wrong password when using computer. Change it then still says wrong. The mobile app starts to log you in then says oh we thought you left. Then you cant log in. Ridiculous.

Two Major Issues

The ios app overall isn’t bad, the dev just didn’t implement saved password triggering so you have to manually click on the login boxes when you open the app and also the dev also didn’t name the app correctly in the app store, so the app name is all janky and cut off with lowercase words (needs to be fixed).

Doesn't always work

When it works, it's great, but when issues arise, it can be challenging. There have been numerous instances where troubleshooting did not resolve it, and entering the information into the app over and over again is extremely frustrating. When I contact Alberta Blue Cross for support, they are often quick to suggest checking for updates or trying solutions I have already attempted. It is never their fault.

Claim submitting

Excellent App to process a claim in just couple of minutes.

App is slow

Takes to long to submit multiple claims!

Low tech

App has poor back buttons - why should I have to hit back buttons after completing a claim submission just to get out of the system or get to the home page. Stupid and clunky in this day and age - get smart get sharp!

Disappointed

The app times out a lot, randomly kicks you out and generally doesn’t work well.

Claim

It makes it easier amd faster to claim our benefits.

Easy to use

Once you have your regular providers loaded in the app, submitting expenses takes only seconds.

Auto log out problems

When the app automatically logs out. The ok button does not work and the app freezes!

Glitchy and missing claims ticker

App still glitches in the benefits section and it appears app has removed the ability to check your cumulative total of specific benefits used and you must now go to the total benefit summary to check all at once? It was nice to quickly be able to compare what was used and what was remaining rather than reviewing the claims reports.

Drug Submissions for Linked Blue Cross Accounts (Seniors Plan & a Group Plan)

The first screen of filling out costs and the final screen before submitting a claim are confusing.

On the first screen, there should be a pop-up explanation for the “total paid” … that it really wants the total COST of the prescription before another payouts were made. And, on the final screen before submitting the claim (the verification screen), it should include the amount I am actually requesting (the SUM of the total prescription cost minus the amount paid by “ABC” Seniors plan).

My Experience: I prepared my claim three times not sure how to enter the dollar amounts on the first page and then, on the last/verification page, it didn’t give me any insight as to how the system was going to calculate it all.

The first time, I thought I should enter the full cost of the prescription , but then on the final screen it appeared that I was asking for the full amount so I deleted that claim before submitting it. I prepared a second claim but when I submitted that one, I only knew I did it wrong after submitting it - when i got a note saying I was getting $0.00 back. So, I had to do it all over again.. for a third time.

Thank you.

Clicks don’t work well

Even though this app needs multiple updates it doesn’t change. Every selection made needs additional clicks to make it submit the item selected.
