App now broken by recent updates

This app is terrible
Install, delete, reinstall; repeat every time you want to use it ..never ending. It just doesn’t work.
Unreliable
The app is alright for most basic tasks, although the prices are generally for pickup or delivery orders and not the same price you see in store. If you use the app regularly you will notice some fairly large issues. The app isn’t the best at representing what is actually in the store, especially the Aldi finds section. When trying to price check some items I found in the Aldi finds section I scanned them with the app and it told me the item shouldn’t be in the store. There is also a yellow banner below the search bar telling me to update the app even though I have the latest version.

Features Needed for Out of Stock Items
Could you add a feature to notify when saved “out of stock” items are back in stock? Right now I can’t even add out of stock items to a list.

Weekly Ad will not open!! This app is terrible! Put it back to the way it was.

Bread review
We have been buying the Aldi’s 100% whole wheat bread for months! We use about 4-5 loafs a month. It sits on my counter next to the Aldi’s butter and toaster oven. I do keep it in the freezer til we need it. After thawing it is still soft and not dried out. I never have problems with it falling apart when making sandwiches. It also never gets moldy, even after a week on the counter!!! I credit the extra thick wrapping it comes in. Also i think the freezing prevents mold! The WM wrapping is considerably thinner.
Needless to say, I am SOLD on L’OVEN FRESH WHOLE WHEAT BREAD!!!

Never works right at the store
The new “tell us your coming” feature is dumb. And the app never loads when I’m in the parking lot to tell them I’m here.
Aldi App Sucks
Aldi is by far my favorite grocery store. I check the weekly ad every single week on Wednesdays. However, their app is horribly made. There have been so many iterations of it at this point I've given up trying to figure out how to use it. Especially since if I do try, it'll probably glitch and freeze anyway. Also why have an app if you're going to just redirect people to their web browser for your website? Seems counterintuitive and honestly a huge flop for Aldi

Flaws
Aldi has a store located two blocks from our house. The store opened late May.

Love the store, the app is mostly great
Overall, the shopping experience in the app is good. My only issue is that the app says it needs to be updated, but the App Store says I have the latest version.

Order pickup workflow is buggy
Takes way too much menu digging to find your active pickup order. Once you find it, all you can click on is “I’m on my way” and the button won’t update to “I’m here” unless you close and reopen the app and dig through the menus again.
