Cannot see billing information
Pretty useless when you can only see your cards , lacks modern features
Limited In Today’s World
Comparatively, this is basic Windows at best, barely above doss operating. No interactive functions to view policy options, deductible options, or vehicle changes, etc. Many features that would enhance the user experience and let the policyholder drive their premium are missing from this app are built into competitors' apps.

Has never worked
I have been a customer at Alfa for years now. Had to leave when we had to add a 16 yr old driver due to rates. Had a hard time then with the app. We are thankfully back now and the app is even worse. It will not update to show out current policy. I love apps because it allows me to be able to pay from them. Not this o e, will not even pull up my current policy.

The glitches
Sometimes it were an easier way to add payment and recurring payments that will actually take it without cancellation. I’ve done it three times which cancels my policy. Whenever it gets updated hopefully there’s a way to fix that. I still get text messages about how I am passed due when I made the payment over the phone the day before. It’s frustrating and confusing.

Auto Insurance ID Cards
There’s no way to print Auto insurance cards from the Alfa2Go app. I downloaded my cards so I could view the offline but that did absolutely no good. I couldn’t find the cards anywhere while offline. I need a printable copy more than anything.
Ridiculous password
Why does an app to access your insurance cards require such complex password?? I can log into my Social Security and bank accounts with much less headache, also, should an insurance app that REQUIRES you to update it before you can use it on the side of the road to show law enforcement or send to a family member that needs it for a traffic stop or fender bender really necessary??

I don’t get it!
I had a couple of statements from Alfa that I need to pay. The statement encourages customers to pay online using the Alfa2go app. So, I decided to download the app to my iPad. The short version is that after several tries, each time the app would download, but the app icon did not install. There was only a placeholder with the Alfa2go caption. If the developer cannot get something as fundamental as installingj the app logo right, I’m not about to trust the app with my payment info. I don’t understand why a company with an otherwise good reputation would promote this app.

First, I see nothing in the App Store description that indicates that that this app is not compatible with iPads. In fact, in the info section it explicitly says “Works on this iPad”.
Second, as a now retired life-long developer I have to ask … there are tens of thousands of iOS apps that are compatible with both iPhones and iPads, why would you choose to not make your app iPad compatible also?
Third, I like most other senior citizens, find it much easier to use apps on tablets than phones**. Ask around if you don’t believe me. It is a bad look for Alfa to overlook this detail. Especially since they are pushing the use of online access.
**Just in case you are wondering: Tablets have larger print, larger keyboards, more info displayed on a page (less info to have to remember). That is just stuff that becomes more important as one ages.

It is ridiculous the amount of premiums that we pay, and the only options to keep from being penalized each month is to go paperless.
