OK app working progre
Of course like all AI this is a work in progress. The app is OK, but there are certain issues that are wrong with it. I am using an iPhone 17 Pro Max with the latest iOS version. When I try to go into the update section to add additional information to my likes or dislikes and the anything else section the app will not let me. When I double tap into the text box field. I get nothing. It doesn’t even say edit when I tap into the text box Field. This is an issue that needs to be fixed so ally is more responsive to each person‘s needs.

Disappointin
The AI isn’t bad, however, this company has extremely poor customer service. They have wearable glasses that you can use the app with hands-free. However, these are cheaply made. They delivered them to me when I was away and refused to give me an extension when I tried to return them because of the poor quality and the fact that they don’t work. Customer service is very poor. I don’t see these people being relevant for very long given the other AI options and smart glass options that are out there for blind people these days.

Still an OK app, but i'm starting to get concerned regarding lack of updates
I'm currently using the beta of this app, which has added support for the Meta glasses. Unfortunately, the beta has not been updated in almost 2 months. As others have said, and as I said in my original review, the voice options currently available are not ideal. When this app was originally out in beta, they offered ElevenLabs voices, and that made for a much better user experience. The voices they use now are supposedly customizable, but I have yet to ever get one to sound the way I describe it. For many years, I have always tried to give this company the benefit of the doubt, but over the past 6 to 8 months, I have become increasingly concerned. I think that they have excellent intentions, but perhaps they have bitten off far more than they can chew. it seems as though especially with their own glasses which were released this past October, they over promised and under delivered in a big way. Plus, I never would've purchased their specific glasses had I known that they were eventually planning to make ally available on Meta glasses. so, overall, the app is good for what it is, but as things stand at the time of writing this review, I believe users should think twice before giving this company any money. Just lately, it seems like they've completely dropped off the radar.

Dies ignoriert die akustische Dynamik von Hilfsmitteln wie VoiceOver vollständig. Dass eine Registrierung bei einem Produkt, das explizit für blinde Menschen konzipiert wurde, aufgrund solcher Versäumnisse scheitert, ist höchst unprofessionell. Dieser Prozess konterkariert jeden Anspruch auf Inklusion und Gleichstellung. Wer Abogebühren für Assistenztechnologie verlangt, muss sicherstellen, dass bereits der Zugang zum System ohne diskriminierende Zeitbarrieren möglich ist.

Not only is the app incredibly accessible, but the AI assistant itself is extremely accurate and non-sycophantic. Having an AI assistant that will correct me, and not just tell me what it is that it believes I want to hear is very important to me. As with any app, there are issues, but overall my experience has been extremely positive!

Helpful and useful application.
There are some features that this app does not have. That being said for a visually impaired user this is the most helpful and convenient artificial intelligence app I have used. This app was recommended to me by a friend who beta tested it, and I have to say all things considered I am very happy with it. Again, it has its limitations, but it has helped me out immensely. Thank you to the developers.

Add ElevenLabs voices
Hello, if you at ElevenLabs voices to ally, that would be amazing. In the beta series before this app was released it had the ElevenLabs voices in those voices are amazing. They sound good. Please add the voice to the app. Eleven Labs voice are supernatural. They work perfectly for the allies I need.

Didn’t get to the actual product
In Augest I signed up for the Early Bird special. Never tried the glasses, they never arrived. The app does suck. It does not know it is supposed to help blind folks. They are slow to respond, they are unhelpful and obstructive when it comes to customer service. I had to contact my credit card to get my refund. Now they are trying to keep part of my payment with no reason, actual or stated. As I said I never got my glasses, they said they were delivered. I guess maybe I stole them?

Issue verifying phone number
I am really looking forward to using this app, but am stalled due to the app displaying an unexpected error when verifying my phone number. I can’t use this app until this is fixed so so am stuck.
Not sure that I like this app
Even though the app is supposed to be for blind people, the service does not seem to recognize that I’m blind so because of this, I don’t think I want to purchase a premium subscription to the app and I don’t know if I will be keeping it on my phone

Ho l’abbonamento mensile e speravo che qualcosa migliorasse in termini i tempi di risposta invece noto che si blocca in continuazione. Soprattutto quando si chiede di sistemare un testo già scritto.
Senza contare che è anche dislessico sia nei messaggi che nel parlato. Nella fase parlata, addirittura non completa i discorsi.. Sistemata al più presto o mi tocca disdire l’abbonamento.

Seit Abo noch schlechter ..😒
Ich weiß zwar nicht, was ihr in letzter Zeit weiter entwickelt habt, aber irgendwie ist das Ganze hier noch schlechter geworden. Die Stimme der ki ist stark am schwanken, sie leiert so richtig, mal langsamer, mal schneller. Dann ist die Stimmlage mal höher, dann mal tiefer, dann wechselt es zwischen Deutsch und Englisch, dann habe ich ne Frauenstimme, dann habe ich eine Männerstimme…. also, wenn ihr wirklich für den deutschen Markt 20 € im Monat haben wollt als Abogebühren, da müsst ihr noch eine ganze Menge verbessern und korrigieren. ihr habt den Vorteil mit der Bildbeschreibung und der Produkterkennung, aber bezogen auf die eigentliche KI hängt ihr zu sehr hinterher, sorry, so geht es nicht.

it's too Americanised, there is nothing for the United Kingdom, to get it to do things or help you with things in the United Kingdom. You've got to have such a big conversation with it it's that it becomes extremely boring, I'm sorry to say this but there are other other AI systems that are a lot lot better than this. I think ally is rubbish at the moment. You do not even have a British voice on it so it's not for us in the United Kingdom. It's not for us not at all.

I purchased this up and quite frankly I will be deleting it very soon because the subscriptions for it are extortionate a very big shame indeed because to be honest there are other products on the market that are much cheaper for example the Apple assistant that’s on the latest version of iOS. Don’t bother purchasing it it’s not worth the money.

Sorry, aber diese KI verwendet wie viele andere die kostenlose ChatGPT Schnittstelle. Diese ki ist veraltet. Hat einen Wissensstand von Juli 2024. Auch dieser App Entwickler möchte ganz gerne, dass man bezahlt, um mehr Anfragen stellen zu können. Bei aller Liebe mit ChatGPT habe ich eine aktuellere KI mit aktuelleren Daten aus dem heutigen Jahr, und selbst in der kostenlosen Variante kann ich viel mehr Anfragen stellen als mit dieser hier.
