Incredible App
This app is genuinely the most amazing podcast app I’ve ever used. The ad removal is truly unmatched which makes listening to podcasts so much better! I rarely write reviews about apps but I felt this is one of the few that deserves high praise.
Top 2 ad free podcast apps
I just wrote a longgggg love letter singing the praises of Alora app but the interface somehow swiped away and removed it. Not writing all that again. Just want to say I LOVE this app and it’s much better than 98% of the other ones bc it actually removes ads and is free. Hope the devs don’t abandon it!

Vanquishes Ads
A podcast player that eliminates ads, even the ones that are mid-cast! No more having to constantly skip ahead several times per episode. A true differentiator. That’s worth five stars on its own. Clean, simple interface is great too, including pod 2.0 features. Doesn’t take forever to view/load the latest episodes like Apple’s native player.
Only tweaks I’d recommend are reduce the card size of the episodes (reformat to get rid of blank space) so you can see more eps on the screen at once. And increase the font. You can barely read those show notes/descriptions.

Tipping function
Some of your reviewers mention a built-in tipping interface that one can use to support favorite creators. I'm not sure how to access this (iPhone) and I wonder if this is because of a limitation of my older phone model or because the app doesn't make this functionality super clear. Could you advise how to access this?

Branding
Fantastic app. Tried everything to find automation. Yours beats all competition hands down. Small piece of constructive feedback - you should have a cooler logo (a microphone is pretty generic and isn't tied to your name). Could be more sleek and high budget looking. And why not give users the option to choose different looks for the app icon, like my previous player (pocket casts) does? For example I'm more of a dark mode person, so the white logo chafes. Also: I assume your app name is a stylisation of the Italian for "on time"? Most non speakers wont get this, and it's cool to know. So maybe you could mention the Italian connection, or say "delivered on time" in your description or something. Or put a time reference into the logo.

Best Podcast Player
I’ve searched high and low for a podcast player that removes ads. Most that I’ve found played more ads then prevented them, took forever to analyze the podcast, burned through my battery, or made my iPhone so hot that I was scared my phone was going to burst into flames. Alora is awesome - it catches all the ads (seriously), my battery doesn’t deplete, and my phone doesn’t run hot. The creators/developers are great - so helpful and responsive. I can’t wait to see how this player evolves. Download it - you will not regret it!

Great alternative to Spotify
I have been using this app constantly since I downloaded it. I put it on time. I wanna listen to something while I work or I’m at the gym and I never have to go back. And skip through any ads.

Sorta basic so far
Your library would benefit from more of alist view vs cards and more customizaation. Search really need way to sort results if posisble (not sure if posisble since native podcast app doesnt support it.) the app looks clean so great start

I was able to find all of my favorite podcasts and the interface is very easy to understand. The audio quality is also great! So nice to have a place just for podcasts

Alora is my fav Silicon Valley startup
I used to resent when people sent me podcasts on Spotify because I didn’t want to sift through it or listen during the middle of my day. Alora solves exactly this. The highlights make things so much easier for me and I can actually digest information unlike the many other apps out there. The devs are extremely responsive and help with any questions. They even made a feature I requested the next day! Keep up the great work Alora team

Great Podcast App!
I’ve really enjoyed using Alora for my podcasts. It’s cool hearing people’s thoughts and recommendations, and I’ve already found some more stuff to listen to based on my friends’ recommendations. The live transcriptions and bookmarking features are really cool too - helps me to skim to topics I’m interested in. I also really like the UI; it’s very clean. I’m excited to see where this app goes!

Potentially perfect podcast community app.
I’ve been using this app for about 3 months now and it’s great. Never had any issues with audio quality or lag and the user interface is super intuitive. The main draw for me is how the app brings together low transaction tipping functionality for creators with social media to create what could become a perfect podcast community app. I really like how the developers blended social media and episode highlights into the apps activity feed. The tipping feature is also super easy and is a great way to directly support my favorite creators, without having to sign up for a monthly Patreon subscription 🥱. It’s incredible how small transaction sizes are supported (less than a penny). Definitely seems like a great use case for crypto.
