Disappointing. Can't open the app after updating
There seems to be a glitch and now I can completely not open the app. It's just a photo on the screen without any options to login, etc. Disappointing

Exactly what this person said. The app is forcing me to update the app in order to use it all of a sudden, so I click the link to do that and it doesn’t work. Then I try calling the phone bank to try to check my balance since I can’t on the app and there’s no option to do that there either, they just say they’re closed and to go online…I don’t know my password and there is no normal way to retrieve it. I just want to check my balance. Maddening.

App was apparently updated and now I can’t use it on my iPhone 11 because its platform is too old. There was no warning. And the cycle continues, as I will shortly be forced into buying a new phone in order to use apps. Ugh.
Update
I have been trying to update my mobile app but it keeps sending me to install the but not update and won’t let me into the mobile app at all. So you need to find someone who can actually make the update work. I’m not getting a new phone either and on the app it says that my phone is able to access the app if I’m not able to get access to the app which according to your app my phone should work I’ll be switching banks I’m not happy with this and the app that I do have won’t work so!!! Why have a bank that can’t even let their customers know before you shut an app down. I’m absolutely not buying another phone just because you guys don’t have your stuff together!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Terrible communication
Would have been nice to know the new app update wouldn’t work with older IOS systems. Some of us don’t update every other month. Thanks alot

Never in my life have I experienced such a sub par banking app
It started by the fact that payment were showing up late and ended up in the fact that I can longer use the app . Users beware and demand better from your bank

Same my phone doesn’t support this app…
Not functional on older phones
The last update to this app was done without notice and I was unable to get into it on my phone as my phone is an older version. I was unable to update it for the same reason. I was told that I would need a new phone, which is not affordable or desirable. My phone works perfectly well and I have no other reason to get a new one, creating waste/garbage with the old one. When making these updates, alert customers in advance, and think about lower income users when programming for compatibility.

Doesn't work after update
After the update you can't even log in please fix this issue
Incompatible with my iPhone X
Been using this app to pay for my car loan and now it has a required update that my phone can’t get because it’s older. I don’t have the money for a new phone which alternatives should take into consideration considering they are supposed to be helping low income people.
Stopped Working
This app used to work fine but a couple of weeks ago it stopped updating. I uninstalled and reinstalled and it doesn’t work at all now - I can’t even get to the log in screen.
Don’t like it
I used to be able to pay my HELOC loan by transferring the money from my external bank account. This has made paying very difficult.
Incompatible with older phones
Able to download an older version of the app that’s compatible with my old (and fabulous) iphone phone but immediately the app required me to download the latest version of the app… Completely useless and counter to AFCU’s mission of helping lower income folks with their finances. Deeply disappointed as someone with an account here for over 25 years.

App is great, took some getting used to the new version. Very easy to use.
Easy, Straight to the point
I really appreciate the energy that was put into this app. It makes my life a whole lot easier to keep track of my finances and to do all sorts of things like transfers, pay bills, and save money with the tip of my finger.
Old version was way better
I find the new version annoying at best. The automatic capture for depositing checks takes longer than manual capture and never works for the back of checks plus you have to try and fail multiple times before it will let you switch to manual capture.
When deposit checks they no longer clearly show as pending or how many days until they clear, was much easier to see that in the old app. As someone who’s job involves depositing many different checks its a real pain. This new app also seems to take much longer to post debits to the account.
I do like that i can easily look at my different accounts right at the too of the main page, but when I transferred money from saving into checking, at first glance it looked like the money deposited into checking and then was taken out (i was paying a bill) but it actually was showing a deposit into savings and debit from checking (bill not yet paid). Obviously if i looked at each acct individually it would be clear but I feel the whole app is trying to be too clever and overcomplicating things.

The update is terrible
Please bring back the old app. This update is horrible. Balances are not in real time and withdrawals do not update in a useable fashion. The check scanner is glitchy. Not good.
