Notification issues since most recent update
The notifications red “number” in the corner keeps updating to insane numbers like 1028 when I only have one or two notifications. The push notifications update is also quite annoying. I’d like a way to select only certain types of notifications, such as messages from staff, or accidents, so I know I have to look out for a bag of clothes to take home.

Buggy Experience
No longer able to save pics of my child even though the button is still there to download. It now opens up in a new screen instead.
Notifications do not work
As other say, the notifications do not work for the app. I have it on iPhone and the notifications are all turned on both in my phone settings and the app settings and still nothing. It’s been over a year and they have never worked. Be prepared to have to check the app constantly or miss important information. Also a less important issue - videos do not work in the app. Anytime they are sent by teachers they show up, but are a black screen with a run time of 00:00.

Seriously need to add Push Notifications!
I genuinely do not understand why this app does not allow for push notifications!!! Also I don’t like the forced survey! You can’t use the app unless you do it!!! The app itself could be great, but needs a lot of work!
No notifications
Notifications still don’t work for me.

I get a weird number of notifications display on the app icon each time a teacher makes an update in the app. Instead of showing 1 or 5, it shows a random number like ‘257’. We also need to be able to download photos from the app, not just take screenshots.
Not intuitive with buggy notifications
It took almost 3 years for notifications to start working on my phone so I missed years of alerts and important messages if I didn’t check the app without a notification. Now whenever I get an alert, the badge number show as accruing into the 100’s even after I’ve checked them all. The Director of our school reached out to IT at Amazing Explorers multiple times but they just closed her tickets without actually fixing or addressing them. Whoever is responsible for developing and maintaining this app didn’t do a very good job. The app is not intuitive and you need to reload pages/features often to get them to work right. Then it will randomly log you out right when you need to use it. It seems like AE paid someone to develop this quickly, push it out, and then never deal with it again.

Good layout
Good layout but functionality is very lacking. Everytime I try to upload a profile photo or add a profile change the app shuts down completely. This is not a good way to start when my child will be starting school soon
Not user friendly at all
This app needs a lot of work. For iPhone I get no notifications at all and there is no option to turn them on or off. In addition there is no feature that allows the app or my phone to save the password so anytime I get logged out I have to manually log back in without a face ID or a saved password option. These are two very important features to make this app user-friendly.

Has been glitchy for a couple weeks
Perhaps an update is needed. I deleted and reinstalled and I still keep seeing 100+ notifications when anything new is posted. It takes a minute to load as well.
Good start, but missing key features
Needs push notifications, also a way to download the photos the teachers post. Overall though the app is intuitive to use, and I haven’t run across any bugs
Doesn’t work if connected to wifi
The app does not work, specifically the camera unless you are disconnected from wifi.
No push notifications
You miss important messages and updates because push notifications do not work on the iPhone 13.
No push notifications
Even when you have notifications enabled, you have to login 30 times a day to check to see if someone responded to you or if they reached out to you. You do not get any push notifications at all.
Doesn’t work on iPads
This app works great on my phone, but doesn’t work on my iPad. I’ve tried deleting and reinstalling, but it still isn’t working.
