Signed up for a free trial but charged $89

I was downloading pretty much all the recipe organizer apps to find the one that fit my needs. I signed up for this free trial and immediately a pop up notification from my bank saying I was charged for $89. I immediately cancelled the subscription under my account and submitted to Apple for a refund which they denied. I don’t use this app, nor have ever used this app and how hard is it to get a refund when it was an accident and I did see that it was for a feee trial. What happened to that? I would like a refund please.

Excellent!

I prepared this dish a couple of nights ago and was surprised how good and satisfying it was. I also shared it with some acquaintances and they were initially enthusiastic by the wonderful aroma before experiencing the great taste.

This is the one

This is the app made by cooks. Incredible recipes from ATK, of course, but the way recipes are organized and features like “add all ingredients to my shopping list” make it so much easier to plan a dinner or just reference an ingredient. I’m ambitious as a cook and I’ve screwed up substantially less since starting planning my recipes here. I’m learning much more about why ingredients or equipment are used a certain way than I have with other platforms.

Great app w/ NETFLIX TV shows!

Stumbled on the America’s Test Kitchen shows on NETFLIX . Loved them, and wanted to try some. Got their app, and so glad. ALL the info for a dish on the show is there, AND MORE!!! I’ve been pausing a TV show, taking a picture or video to reference later. With the app you can: search for the dish, watch a video, see ingredient list, read detailed instructions, rate it for reference, add your own comments, changes or substitutions, save it to a category you name, and probably stuff I haven’t seen yet. Did their crispy pork belly today, but cooked it on a smoker, (Big Green Egg). Turned out great! Put my notes in the app w/ the recipe and saved it to a BGE folder. Sooo much better than what I used to do. Highly recommend app and TV shows.

Best cooking app out there

Both the print version, and the app are top notch. Way better than Bon appetit

Easy and quick

Loved this. I added thyme instead of parsley, added lemon zest and finished with butter. Excellent way to cook Haddock.

A little clunky

I use this app a lot, as I love to cook. However it is annoying when on an iPad, while your hands are wet…and the screen goes dark.
While searching a recipe for mushroom soup, it gave me 2 options. No reviews, no times,I had to click on the recipe, read it…and then re-search for the second recipe to read. Seems like there would be a more streamlined approach. This goes for all the popular recipes …many choices.

Very poor app

I have been having difficulty logging into this app for months. Keep on getting errors.

Great app

This is my go to for all recipes.

Delicious

I can’t say enough how much I have enjoyed making this recipe. Substituted pork with ground turkey as well. A hit every time.

So Easy & Yummy

Make this in the morning. I let it sit in fridge all day. The only thing I changed was doubling the liquids and spices and the onions. I love Vidalia onions. I doubled the onions too. I used those. Then I covered the onions and cucumbers with the mixture. My hubby really liked this too!

The BEST app for recipes

I truly do use the ATK multiple times a week. I get compliments on everything I’ve made and always boast about the additional features, especially the product reviews and recommendations. This app will change your life.

World Class

Simply world class. Accessible, amazing recipes and a wonderfully designed app. You get what you pay for!

My favorite and most used app

This app is amazing!! I haven’t had to search through cookbooks in years. It’s a huge time saver and it makes cooking every night for the family so much more enjoyable and much less daunting than it used to be. It is worth every penny and I don’t know where I would be without it. I’ve gotten several friends to join this app, in addition to gifting subscriptions as wedding gifts. Everyone who has it raves about it

Excellent

I use this app all the time, for recipe ideas, choosing side dishes, figuring out which kind of capers or syrup to buy, seeing which ladle works best, what the Best Buy appliance is, etc.

I’ve added many recipes to my box thanks to ATK and I’ve never ever made anything that wasn’t at least good.

I now make a pork chop that EVERY SINGLE TIME someone new eats it I hear from them, “This is the best pork chop I’ve ever had!” and a chicken dish that everyone loves and says, “What is it called again?”

But best of all, I have learned to make food the way that I like eating it.

The best money I’ve ever spent was on the ATK app and books.

Best Cheese steak

Best cheesesteak I ever made!!!

Corn bread???

Do you think I could make these in mini loafs pans and adjust the baking time?

Comment section

ATK Chefs need to answer all questions in the Comment section, or perhaps ATK could develop a Hotline for home cooks to ask questions.

I made this recipe for my husband and me and we really liked it. It was fast and easy. The recipe calls for pushing the zucchini into the hot pan to assure contact. I wasn’t as diligent as I should have been so there were areas that weren’t browned. The spicy honey really adds flavor to the zucchini. I’m making it again for family dinner with our three children and their spouses.

Dependable and Instructive

I love the recipes in America’s Test Kitchen because they almost never fail and I learn so much about cooking.
