About

Learn the vocabulary of the New Testament — all 5,483 words — through the screens you already look at dozens of times a day. HOW IT WORKS • New words appear on your lock screen with their meaning, several times through the day — no app to open. • The Recall widget on your home screen quizzes you: read the Greek, tap to check, then grade yourself. • Every PASS stretches the next review out (1, 3, 7, 14, 30, 90, 180 days). Every ↺ brings the word back sooner. Miss a word two days running and it returns to the lock screen for relearning. A REAL DICTIONARY BEHIND EVERY WORD Tap any word for its full entry: the Middle Liddell definition, the forms that actually occur in the New Testament with their parsing, its frequency across the Septuagint, the Apostolic Fathers and wider Greek literature — and every NT verse it appears in, with translation. MADE TO BE SUSTAINABLE • A two-minute placement test finds where you should start. • Choose which days introduce new words — take Saturdays off. • Reviews are capped and smoothed automatically, so the backlog can never snowball. • Words common in the Septuagint and the Fathers but rare in the NT are woven in, so your Greek grows beyond the canon. ALSO INCLUDED Hebrew and Latin vocabulary decks, and Hebrew verb-form drilling, available under Manage Languages. Built by a student of the biblical languages, on the conviction that the lock screen is the best flashcard you own.

Version 1.2 is a rebuild around one idea: your lock screen is the best flashcard you own. • Lock-screen widgets show your new Greek words with their meaning, spaced through the day • The Recall home-screen widget quizzes you — tap to check, grade with PASS or FAIL, without opening the app • Tap any word for its full dictionary entry: senses, attested forms with parsing, frequency across Greek literature, and every NT verse it appears in • A two-minute placement test starts you at the right level • Smarter scheduling: expanding intervals, relearning for stubborn words, rest days, and automatic smoothing so reviews never pile up • A new in-app guide walks you through setup
