Not sure
I am feeling different in my head. Not sure what it is doing. I hope this will be a positive thing.
App crashing
I’m trying to sign up and as soon as I click on the plan I want it crashes every time. Not a great way to sell your product
For now it’s a “No,” but I might circle back.
Negatives: It does not continue playing in the background; troubleshooting via switching order of what app started playing first, closing/reopening app, toggling feature on/off, etc did not work—automatic, “No.” Too small of a library to warrant a subscription—if music streamers finally figure out the value of “background mode,” you’re screwed because most users have a music streaming subscription already and there are so many binaural beats tracks out there, it shames your small offering. What can you do? AI power everything, ensuring user customization—this can differentiate you; roll it out fast.
Positives: The selection of music used with many the tracks made the sound more impactful—many apps choose the same monotonous relaxation music, add a gamma frequency and call it “energizing;” Anima seems to understand that the music itself “functions” as much as the frequency—it’s capable of influencing a state; Anima, expound on this approach. The overall UI had a modern feel.

I’m unable to listen unless I purchase. Deleting now!
Predatory app behavior.
The set up is misleading from the start. It asks random questions to get you engaged, then ends in a screen with “pro plans.” It looks a closable tab. There is no X button, no way to leave that screen; even if you restart the app, it opens on that screen. That’s when I realized it was a fake “free app.” There is no pro plan, the subscription is to have access to the app period. It also immediately asks for a review before you even get to the end of the setup screen. Never give your money to apps that are designed like this; they’re playing mental gymnastics, basically confusing on purpose. The problem isn’t about having to pay to use it — it’s about it being shady and acting like you don’t. And, like any good company, mentioning disabilities as a selling point.

No idea if it works, there's no free sample
The usual "give us your bank details before we let you sample the merch". Nope.
