Awesome for music practice..
... and has been since I started using it in 2011. Great audio quality, easy to use. The pitch and speed change and tags are what I use most. You can pull songs straight from the band Dropbox into the app. eq can be handy to isolate parts a bit. Gets used live at rehearsals as it’s so easy to use. Update 2022: still up to date and tidy. Skin much more modern now, not that I had any issue with the old one as it’s how it works that’s important.
Update 2026: still great, but would love some glitches fixed with the iPad Pro 13, e.g the add new songs window

Was good…
Now it keeps crashing. It’s very frustrating
Wonderful music player,
I’ve been using this for years now. Very few bugs ( if any) and very easy to use to learn tunes. You can slow a recording down, alter pitch, and isolate and loop sections for easier learning. I import a recording into this app and then alter it to fit my needs. It’s a musician’s life saver,
my opinion
This software has the following drawbacks:
1. Jump back and Jump forward functions cannot be controlled on Apple Watch.
2. Each time a new song is played, the playback speed function resets to the normal speed (x1), making it impossible to play at double speed; it needs to be reset.
Hopefully the software company can solve the problem.

Excellent customer service!
I’ve been using this app for over a decade for live performances and it is a lifesaver. With lyrics that scroll to the backing tracks, I’ve created my whole show and set lists around it. Recently, Apple’s update caused the app to not function properly and within 24 hours they got back with me with a workaround until they fix the bug. Great customer service and great app!

can’t get to playlists after Apple update
After Apple‘s most recent update, when I open this app I cannot get to my playlists. I perform live with this app twice a week and without being able to make playlists I’m kind of up a creek. Please update the app. I have a gig tomorrow and I’m just gonna have to scroll through songs one by one on the fly.

App does not work wit Apple Music
Ideal for practice
Use the app to hear a section over and over while on a bike and commuting to work. Can’t be done with my DAW on my computer.
Incredible app
Killer app! Slows the song without a change in pitch.

Perfect !
Awesome app!!
This is a simple review, but this app rocks (pun intended)! The many features in how to adjust tracks is near-limitless and the gain feature can truly bring your sound to 11.
Great product!
A good investment. Leaves the metronome in the dust!

Es muy entretenida y fácil de usar , intuitiva, me ofrece todo lo que necesito para transcribir y estudiar
most useful musician app ever
This app is worth every cent for all musicians. I use it to teach myself how to play songs by ear on guitar, to transcribe recorded music like Ella Fitzgerald's improvised scatting. A professional musician introduced me to this very useful app.
Very easy & intuitive user interface. I import songs into the app, and I slow it down, make loops to practice, change keys. This app is essential for learning music in an efficient way. For songs that I never thought I could play/ sing, now I use this app to slow it down, to divide into manageable loops, to change key. If you have a decent ear for music, the app will help you learn any song by ear.
