I made a purchase of an office chair. The chair was absolute garbage and I left a negative review on their website about the chair itself. I rated Aosom high but the product itself was rated at 1 star. Their customer service reached out and offered a refund which I accepted. That’s the right thing to do and I appreciated it.
They asked me to complete a survey and when I went to do that, the shady things started. The first option on the survey form is “I am satisfied with the result, so I agree to hide the review.”
Trying to bribe me to hide the review because they did the right thing and gave a refund that they initially offered.
The second option is “I am satisfied with the result, so I prefer to change my ratings and comment.”
That option gives you the option for a new star rating, title, and comments. Great, right? Except you can’t rate it less than 4 stars.
The final option is “I’m not satisfied.”
I was, however I wasn’t going to change my rating on a garbage product so I chose to do nothing. Today I got an email reminder about the survey which reminded me how shady they were and prompted this review. They should be ashamed of themselves. If they’re shady with reviews, what else are they doing that is shady?

Dishonest reviews do not accurately reflect product quality
You can’t really trust the reviews on the products they sell; since when you make a bad review on a product they instantly attempt to bribe you into changing or deleting it by offering a partial discount on the product. They’ve done this to me on 2 out of the 3 things I’ve ordered through them. Very dishonest practice, hence why you will mostly just see positive reviews as taking the bribe is the easiest way to get a portion of your money back as opposed to return shipping etc.

Lied about “extra discount”
Only lets you use one coupon code per order so it is impossible to take advantage of the “extra” 10% off first order from the app.

Bad Experience
I purchased a dog house for $70. Few days later I found the same house for $35 on Amazon. I called to customer service and asked if they can do anything to reduce the price at least little bit. Some companies have policies to return an item for free. Some companies can match the price or maybe have some coupon for $10-$20 or give $10%-15% off. This company has nothing. Customer service hardly speaks English. One guy thought I want to block my account. Another one spoke with me like he just got up from a bed. Third - I couldn’t hear a word because of the background noise. Maybe it is ok to buy some items there, but before you do just be careful because you will stuck with your item and you will pay for a shipping if you want to send an item back to the company. One of the customer service guys even told me with that low kind of voice slowly -you.. will…pay…for ..the .. shipping. Anyway, this company does nothing for you. Good luck shopping.

Pleasantly surprised
I took a chance with Aosom as I’ve never heard of this company. I ordered a large cabinet and was pleasantly surprised with the quality, and what it looks like for the price. The shipping was quick and easy to go through on the app. Will definitely be buying more from this company.

I’m impressed. I’m a first time customer. I placed my order and neglected to apply for my first-time customer discount. I contacted Aosom and within the hour I had an email addressing my issue and within 2 hrs I was notified of my refund. I reordered the item- a greenhouse which was a better price than anywhere else- and my discount was applied. Happy customer!
