Great calendar could be better
I used Skylight for about four months before switching to this calendar, and there are a lot of things I really like about this one. Being able to use it almost like a giant iPad is fantastic. The flexibility to open other apps makes it much more versatile for our family.
That said, there are a few features from Skylight that I really miss. The routines section was excellent because I could choose exactly which days a task would repeat and assign it to one child or multiple children. I also loved the visual color-coding for shared events—it made it very easy to see at a glance who was invited to or involved in each activity.
One of my favorite Skylight features was the ability to add events simply by taking a photo of a flyer, invitation, or schedule. The calendar would automatically recognize the event details and create the appointment for me. As a busy parent, this saved a tremendous amount of time, and I would love to see a similar feature added here.
Another feature I miss is the meal planning section. Being able to plan meals and then order groceries directly from the meal plan was incredibly convenient. The overall calendar layout was also more visually appealing to me, and as a very visual person, that made a big difference.
One challenge I have with the current calendar view is that I often need to scroll through large blocks of empty time to find my scheduled events. For example, if I have nothing planned from 8 AM to 3 PM, I would love the option to automatically collapse those empty hours and show a condensed daily view. Sometimes I look at the screen, see a lot of blank space, and mistakenly think I have nothing scheduled that day, only to realize later that I needed to scroll down to see an event. A compact “day summary” view would make it much easier to quickly understand my schedule at a glance.
I would also appreciate more reliable phone notifications. Sometimes reminders appear, and sometimes they don’t. It would be great to have stronger notification settings with customizable alarms and reminders for events and tasks.
Overall, I enjoy the flexibility and functionality of this calendar, but adding some of these family-focused and visual planning features would make it even better.

Questioning purchase
One of the things that I was buying this for was the reward wheel. It doesn’t work hasn’t work
No subscription
This is a subscription-free household task management app. It's primarily designed to work with their branded devices, but you can also use the app independently without purchasing any hardware. Hopefully, it will remain free forever.
So far this is chefs kiss 👌 hoping for continued improvements to the app
We went ahead and took a plunge by purchasing this calendar. So far it appears that it’ll lighten the mental burden and help keep our family organized. The two-way app calendar syncing in conjunction with the routine and to-do list are amazing! I would love if there was an option for changing the background color because our family prefers darker color themes. Also, it would be nice to have an option to move up or down items in a routine or to do list that way I can help my kids prioritize a steady flow. Is there a way to change the calendar view on the home screen for the app? It would be nice to see everything lined up horizontally instead of in two columns. Lastly is there a way to change which order the family members on the routine screen? For some reason my son pops up at the top and my daughter below him but he is shorter than her and it makes if awkward. I look forward to continue using this digital calendar and to see the evolution of this program and company 💚💚💚🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼

Love!
I love this calendar and app! My only request would be to have more color options for events on the calendar. We love color coding everything depending on the activity. Maybe this could be an easy update ☺️
The app has been running steadily for a long time
The updated version boasts enhanced functionality, showcasing the dedication of the development team.
Overall helpful but could use an update
Overall the app is great. But it’s lacking in options for the routine section. Currently the only options for repeating a routine are daily, weekly, monthly, yearly and there is a custom option but what’s lacking is the option to select weekly and choose which days of the week to repeat. For example, if I want my children to repeat the same routine M-F and not on the weekends, I should be able to select weekly and then pick which days of the week I want the routine to be applicable for.

Not user friendly, no support
I have spent more time than I care to admit trying to use this digital family planner. Right now it’s just a really expensive version of a paper calendar (that’s super easy to use) and my iPhone reminders (also super easy to use). All I have been able to do is import a calendar and add tasks/todos. I can’t get it to add anything with voice commands, set a wallpaper or upload photos. Support is nonexistent. Regret this purchase every time I look at it.

No customers service
I need to reset my pin on the family calendar I was gifted. I went through every single thing there is to click on in the app & I can’t find it. I wrote an email to their customer support in February & I’ve yet to hear back & now it’s March.

Make your app as beautiful as your hardware please
Right off the bat, I was rather disappointed to see the ios application logo look so unrefined. I did tons of research on the hardware side of digital calendar displays, but none on the application side. Please dedicate some time to bring this app up to speed with your competitors, i.e. Cozyla, Skylight, etc.
