Ive been using AppBlock for a few years and it’s the best app blocker ever as it includes a tric feature where you can’t change the settings
Refresh button
Hi. In the latest update, the refresh button is gone!!! Why did you remove it?! It was really useful. Because this app take a little while to refresh when you edit the apps that should be blocked.

I’m definitely reducing my screen time thanks to this app. Overall, I’m very satisfied with it.
However, I have an issue with the Pomodoro timer. Occasionally, it stops running even though I haven’t touched my phone or interacted with the app. When this happens, the ongoing Pomodoro session seems to disappear as if no timer had been running at all. It would be great if this issue could be fixed.

Not very useful
I don’t understand how this app is supposed to work if I can only use it once a week. I can acknowledge that you need to make money from your pro subscription, but don’t make the app unusable for free users. At that point, just make me pay for it from the beginning.

Oh this actually works
It’s annoying how well it works. Even when I try to have my spouse unlock it from their email, it doesn’t even unlock it. I just have to get over it that I can’t get back in. It’s the best. This app has actually changed my life. When I’m scrolling, I think about the timer and it makes me more aware of the content I’m consuming — if it is dumb and mindless, I get out of Instagram bc I don’t want to run down my time on stupid stuff.

Can’t block reels
The whole reason I got this app was to keep insta but only block reels. App block doesn’t have these capabilities. False advertising I guess.
Free version - Does what I need
Was looking for an app that blocks all distracting apps like social media apps when I wake up so I do t get distracted. It does that, select your apps and the time and they aren’t a problem so it works. Only using the free version however and you can only select one day of the week. So you just have to change the day to the next day every evening and odd occasion I forget. Paid version has a lot more flexibility and customisation. For now I’m happy with this.

Some features don’t work as described
The feature that works is being able to set a schedule for blocking apps so from 8pm -10am I can block certain apps and I can set a strict mode that no matter what I do I can not get into those apps during that time. Now if I want to set a daily time limit on those apps for the day it will not allow me to do strict mode.
So I can lock social media from 8pm-10am but I can not set a one hour limit and keep myself locked out. This is a problem for what I am attempting to accomplish.
