ON THE GRAND PDE
I was looking at the grand pde and it was new in real life but fake on maps and when it’s says explore the world that is wrong
Why????
Takes you the longest route possible. Why is my friends house 5 mintues away and maps had been taking me a route that is 15 minutes long???
Apples to oranges when talking about Apple Maps
I drive for a living and I cannot tell you how many times Google maps gets the address right over Apple Maps. It’s not even close. Apple Maps is horrible and I use an iPhone… DO BETTER
Weather Layer
Good nav app for driving. However, adding a weather/precipitation/radar layer would really improve it
Potential upgrades
I think that the app would be a whole lot better if it had a speedometer, not just the speed limit.
Google Maps used to have the speedometer only available when you had a destination their recent update has made it to where you have a speedometer rather you have a destination or not, which is a definite plus..
Another upgrade worth looking into I have Apple Maps Google maps and Waze. I am a home improvement contractor and we typically use Waze as the map app when forwarding our location and ETA to clients…. What I mean by that is ways allows you to send your location to multiple people via link text message. Email etc..
So for instance, when we have clients that have either a spouse or there are multiple parties involved in the home renovation project we’d like to send the group chat our drive so that everybody that is in the group chat is able to see not only our route and live action but also our estimated ETA or as this map app only allows you to send it to one individual person in your contacts
to be quite honest, no app works better with iPhone, obviously than this particular app as far as integrating with everyday phone use, I’m able to see my map on my Apple Watch on my phone when the screen is locked, etc. but as far as accuracy, Google Maps takes the Nguyen every single day as far as Client friendly for our business Waze takes the win every single day
