This app worked 1 out of the 4 times we tried to use it. I downloaded the app based on the sign at the Verona taxi stand because we need a van for five passengers with luggage. When I tried to hail a taxi the app said we were in a restricted area and couldn’t use the app there. Why they would recommend the app at a location it can’t be used is beyond me. It worked fine the next day. Then the next two times it failed us again. I wouldn’t rely on it. You’re better off calling the local taxi service. The one advantage it since is you can pay through the app and avoid trying to pay with a credit card which the drivers really don’t want you to do.

Easy and Reliable
Typically I avoid cabs and use public buses and trams. In this case I needed to get to the Firenze Campo di Marte train station, but the bus was going to take 50 minutes (just across town). Couldn’t miss the train to Roma I wanted to take. So, I down loaded the App, registered, and set up my wallet. In 3 min the cab was at my apartment, and in 17 min we were at the train station. The app provided correct cab route and good cost estimate. Great App.

Taxi App that works
this is the only app that has successfully worked this year. The app is simple. The cars are clean and the staff very friendly.
Needs to be a little clearer with options
The service was great and the drivers have all been friendly and helpful. I didn’t know you needed to specify 5 passengers, since the option was only for 6+. The taxi came and couldn’t accommodate us and the app charged a no show fee, which was not the case.

Christina was absolutely amazing. She took me to places that I wanted to go and she made helpful suggestions and asked me if I would like to do those as well which was wonderful as a tourist because I do not know all the places to go. I highly recommend her. She was so thoughtful, helpful, kind and very sweet.

Useless
First, the app wouldn’t let me schedule a ride for no explicable reason. Then, it wouldn’t let me delete my account or remove my credit card for no explicable reason. Garbage software.

Quick registration process and booking is super easy. Received notification ahead of driver coming.

Horrible app. I booked van for 9.15am outside our apartment in central Florence Italy. About 9.20 receive notification that it’s canceled, we were 5 people so I had booked specifically a 6+ and luggage. At that point we were unable to get new taxi or uber and missed our train to Naples. Big part of trip ruined cause of this app. Better just pre book private car. Only use taxi directly from stand do not use there app for pre booking.

Impossible to log in!!
Tried several times with different numbers to log in. The app refuses to send me OTP as SMS and as WhatsApp. And so I clicked “write to support” but nothing happens!!

Terrible
AppTaxi totally let us down in Florence. We booked a taxi to the train station the day before and 2 mins before it was due to arrive, it disappeared from the app. We tried everything to reinstate it without success. Totally unreliable. I cannot recommend.
Frustrating
Downloaded the app to get a taxi from the rental car pick up/drop off near Florence airport. When you input the address it auto fills in the location which is nice, however, it then proceeds to ask for a physical street number which is a SNC, no number available. It loops itself into a spiral of giving you its own option of the address and then asking you for a non existent number… I gave up and deleted the app.
