I like how you can get reading if there’s no WiFi or no cell coverage. It’s works ‘stand alone’. Also, I compared it to the other strips and they all about the same. This one lets you select shade , no shade, chlorine, salt, or bromine. Plus you can create multiple pools! I created 17 for fun. No problem. Customer service is really helpful and responsive, too. The test strips are bigger and need only dipped finger deep who h is helpful for my older knees. I like the rugged waterproof carry case it comes with as well. I also see the app is live on Google play now. Very nice.

Amazing Customer Service
I have been having an issue with the app and I sent the developer a message thinking I would hear anything. Jacob from the support team provided some options to help, that didn’t work, when I told him that he went even further spoke with the app developer who provided information that he relayed to me, told me he would notify me when it was fixed. Absolutely amazing. I rely on this app for keeping my pool in check and will continue that after this experience. Thank you so very much!!!!!!

Won’t work after 1 day
The software keeps telling me to download the latest version but there is no newer version. Luckily this was free because it isn’t even worth that price.

Total failure
I installed the app. Created a pool profile. Watched the tutorial. Followed the instructions. Dipped the strip. Placed it in indirect light on a white background. Touched scan. Watched the wheel turn. Picture never appeared. Using an iPhone 16.

Simple, Fast, and Pretty Accurate
Aquivalent has been a really handy tool for testing my pool chemicals. Setup on my phone was was quick and easy, and I like how it uses the camera to scan the test strip. It snaps a pic fast and is pretty straightforward. The results are easy to read and makes it simple to see what’s going on with my pool.
When the app says everything’s good, it gives me peace of mind and saves me a trip to the pool store. If something looks off, I still go in to double check and get what I need, just like I always have. It definitely makes testing easier and saves me a trip when things are balanced.

This app has made maintaining my own pools chemical s at a healthy levels seamless. It takes all the guest work out of it.
It’s so easy and accurate
I bought their strips used the app to have it automatically read the strip and tell me exactly what my reading were and now my hot tub and pool are perfect
