set up scale in fitbit app
it is confusing but this just updates firmware. to set up scale you need to use fitbit app and say “add new device”
Scale won’t let you proceed
This scale won’t let you get past the “found scale screen” I’ve deleted app and downloaded twice and it keep doing it. Ans my instructions wasn’t in English at all not even on the box!
Always wonky
Loses WiFi connection for no reason. They run you through a thousand options over a long time to try to fix. Almost without reason it might work. Then after a while it stops functioning properly. At this point, it is a highly over-priced novelty that fails to do what it claims.
Only use to update
It took me awhile to realize that this app only checks for updates. That’s it. To check your weight, you need the Fitbit app. Or just step on the scale.
Aria air scale disappointment!
I have bought Aria before, had literally zero issues with setup or syncing. But Aria air is missing features that Aria 1 had … this newer version sucks. Can’t even the firmware to speak from scale to phone. Keeps saying the scale is not close by mean time they are SIDE BY SIDE for god sakes!
I’m about to return this as no one at Fitbit is well spoken in English and I can’t understand the marbles in their mouths cultured mouths. So I end up hanging up. I’m over this scale. I want my money back ASAP!
Suggestions:
Make a scale simple for someone not well versed in technology to understand. If my mother cannot figure it out - it is not worth the dollars spent!! Plus with no bmi registering or bf% on this one - definitely garbage! Waste of money and time!

Device Bluetooth is Non-Functional
Just bought this scale with the biggest selling point that I could sync my phone and keep track of my weight effortlessly. Sadly this app will try pair to the device stating it’s found, but it won’t allow it to proceed forward from that screen. This isn’t a good look for the FitBit brand. If you ever fix this, I may give an updated review.

My Aria scale has worked perfectly for the last 2yrs, until I updated it using this app. Now the bluetooth connection has gone and my scale won’t sync with my Fitbit app.

Scale won’t sync now
My scale was connecting fine till I did this update. Now the Bluetooth symbol blinks anytime I try to sync my weight. I’ve tried disconnecting the scale from the app. It tells me it’s connecting then says there has been an error. It shows my scale as connected to the app but now my weight doesn’t transfer when I take it.

Scale was working fine until I updated it, now it will not sync up.

Incorrect weight loss
Accurately records weight, but when syncing to the Fitbit app the weight is correct put the amount of weight lost is incorrect so for example if you have lost 7lbs it records the correct weight but only says you have lost 3lb. I feel like I’ve wasted my money.
Doesn’t work
It actually has the Bluetooth symbol appear on the scale during the update. Giving you false hopes of a solution. Nope still is an expensive normal scale lol.
Aria air does not sync with iphone fitbit app.
