Poor quality product

Navigation doesn’t make any sense. UX and UI don’t make any sense. I’m 100% sure that they haven’t done any usability testing.

App books without showing it app - leads to zombie tickets

It seems like I was able to book tickets without the app showing it. This means that I bought three tickets for one ride. Seriously, how much money are you making on this app?

Credentials lost

Each update scratches your credentials… why ?

A lot of bugs

When doing payments, there are glitches of the type that presses on options are ignored, stopping me from making a purchase by adding a new card, this happens when an app verification is presented.

When using my existing card I get stuck again since the app doesn’t return from my bank verification. I have to kill the app and start it again to access my ticket.

QA process for this kind of app needs to be way better.

Awesome app!

I don’t know why 6 people weren’t kind in rating this app: I land at ARN airport the ticket vending machine for the Express can’t read my card chip so I download app, add payment, buy a ticket - ALL WITHIN THE 90 SECOND ESCALATOR DOWN TO THE TRAIN! This app and the payment processing is fantastic just try that with any other ticketing app anywhere- you get confirmation emails, wait times for activation of account, etc etc- it is awesome - well done!

Easy and sophisticated

Straight on booking process. Now you will get a big fat instruction on top of the ticket activation area. Easy traveling for tourists. :-)

Not ready for use...

Got stuck in signing in “Please review your phone number” nothing happened when next botton was pushed and my phone number was OK...

It doesnt work

It says my number is already being used, when it’s not. When I try to recover my passcode it says my account does not exist.

unhappy customer

why did you remove the next departure time it so inconvenient now, please put it back!!!

Really?

The app forces a numeric keyboard when entering password but the passwords are alphanumeric. Ridiculous mistake.

Works until it doesn’t

My other phone died so I can’t get the verification message. Doesn’t allow the ability to sign out.

Doesn’t work.

App doesn’t allow registration. Never received verification code. Tied many times. Nothing. Neat. 1 Star.

No working

Can’t login (from abroad).

Doesn't work

Could not register. Verification code to phone was not sent. Could not purchase tickets.

careful with activating the ticket

Got the app on my way to Stockholm on the airport in Germany. Thought that activating the ticket is no problem but the activation is limited to one hour! No explicit warning note in the app so I lost one ticket. Crap app, better buy the ticket on the ticket machine.

Could be better

So far the App looks very good. The only drawback I have found so far is that it is not possible to buy the much cheaper pre-paid 14, 30 and 90 day buy-ahead tickets that are available on the website no is there any mention of these on the App.

Exceptionally good train app

As a transport professional, I was massively impressed with the Arlanda Express app.

1) Easy to associate a payment card with the app, so buying tickets is really easy.

2) Totally intuitive interface for selection of tickets.

3) Tickets stored 'unused' in app until activated. User activates the ticket when required for actual travel.

4) Service timetable very clearly presented, with next departure clearly highlighted.

The train itself is very smooth and by far the quickest way from downtown Stockholm to the airport.

One criticism (nothing to do with the app): the Central Station itself is very hard to find as a pedestrian. Better wayfinding signage is required. Perhaps the app could address this with an API-level integration of a Map/Nav app?
