These apps don’t work so don’t bother
Not only the app, but also worst product.
After pairing extender mesh, it does not extend for an extra single inch. It’s useless product. Don’t buy it. The app does not do anything.

Wish I would have read the reviews here prior to buying, apps are difficult to manage through or bug out (joke of a QR code scanner in the app). It shouldn’t take 4 hours to diagnose what could be wrong with no end in sight. This shouldn’t be this difficult to set up.

There is *zero* reason you need my location to set up a WiFi device. Get a clue.

These people don’t even know to setup or troubleshoot their own stuff. Useless people useless product useless app.
Needs fixing
Every time I tap on a device to get “more detail“ I get a different device than the one I selected. Seems there’s a problem here.

This app, like all newer Arris apps, is useless. It doesn’t pick up the router from even 3 feet away. If you haven’t opened your surfboard, I recommend you return it and go with something else.

Doesn’t work
I have an Arris router and the new X5 extenders. This app does not pick up any of them. The only thing it will do is recognize and display my Wi-Fi network. Another partially baked app that doesn’t support the customer.

Good app
App works well and makes it easy to set up my WiFi, make changes etc... works much better than the one my dad has for his home network
