Amazing!

I only use it for browsing, so I can’t speak to the other features, but it’s about as good as it gets since Apollo, RIP. I can’t believe how smooth it is.

Excellent but please improve search

Much greater than the official Reddit app and a happy paying customer. However, please dev, make search more flexible since it’s the only reason I need to keep using the official app. Official app and website have filters like past day, week, month and sort order such as sorting by date, etc. ( All missing in this app.) Anyway keep up the good work!

Features lacking

I will renew my subscription when Filtering/ Blocking subreddits can be done with one or two clicks.

Update. Thanks for the reply.
Basically just adding to the Actions menu for the subreddit the option Add to filters. (This was available in Apollo and is now in Narwhal)

Just like Apollo

Honestly, I’m really wondering why they had to shut down Apollo if something like Artemis exists. It works so well and it’s so similar. It’s really sad that that great app had to be closed, but it seems Artemis has a working business model. Let’s hope for the best! Anyway, it’s better than the official Reddit app that can’t even play sound on videos - mind you the official Reddit app is developed by $billions corporation.

Music pause when opening muted video

Overall great App

Recent update made it so my music pauses when opening a video even with the mute video option set.

Great

Widgets could use some work because typing in your preferred sub does basically nothing.

One things I'd like to see
1 split screenmode
2 landscape mode

Fantastic!

Thank you for your work into this app. Please support the developer by purchasing Pro :)

A great Reddit app and a very responsive developer!

Gets better every couple weeks. Always listening to user requests.

A promising replacement for Apollo.

This is the first app I’ve found that comes close to the glory of the old Apollo Reddit app. The monthly fee is very reasonable too.

It’s nearly perfect, but has a couple annoying bugs and quirks that prevent me from giving it five stars at the moment.

The worst issue is the app freezes a lot, and it seems to center mostly around downloading videos and gifs, and less often when just viewing them.

The other issue is that there are some features that require you to leave the app and use the browser for. Such as following a person requires you to go to the website, which is a bit annoying.

Other apps don’t seem to have this issue, even Apollo when using it through “alternative” methods doesn’t have this issue. So I’m hoping it’s something that will be added in a future update.

But over all it’s a very promising start and I’m excited to see where it goes in the future.

Great

One of the best Reddit apps out there

Best option on the App Store

If you used to use 3rd party apps for Reddit and don’t want to jump through hoops to keep doing so, this is the best option on the App Store.

Just like the good old days

Just like Apollo right before the whole Reddit paid API debacle. Seriously amazing thank you so much for this

Good

Nice UI, ad free. I only complaint is i don’t get notifications.

Very good

Worth checking out.

More than the basics are all there and there are plenty of options to customize things. Love the app it’s very similar to Apollo and in many ways better. Super smooth, haven’t had any issues.

Great app and responsive dev

The app has overall been fantastic. I’ve had a few bugs or issues, but each time I’ve mentioned them in the official subreddit the dev has been quick to reply and usually the next update has that fix in it.

Finally

Easily one of the best Apollo replacements out there. Artemis has reached the top of my list for using Reddit.

Easily the best Reddit client you can use. Simple. No ads!

The free version is very much worth it. But the dev requires coffee money for what he’s done!

Failed to load posts. Day after day

App is nice…when it works. Lately, daily, all I mostly get is “failed to load posts”

good

good but how do you comment

Connection Error When Opening Posts

“Failed to load post. Check your connection and try again.”

Doesn’t work anymore

Refuses to load posts. Reddit website works but Artemis does not.
