Nice clean interface. Really shines when it comes to typeface and background options. I deal with eye strain, and find the gray background to be so comfortable. A great find.

Great app.
I like having a local copy of the article. An improvement to the app, something I’d like to do. Is to created a PDF of the whole text with highlights that I can share via email.
Or an alternative to share highlights with the whole text. I can share highlights on there own. But sharing the text together would be great.

Really enjoy and, what’s more, seem to be using this.
Lovely app. I have a couple of asks to give it six stars, but like it, what it does, it’s interface and transparency in use. Extremely well designed and executed. My only qualifications for comment and high praise are that I'm not in IT and have been using computers since they were the size of buildings.

Phenomenal
This app is incredibly easy to use, and is incredibly useful—everything can be sorted into groups (tags), and can be easily annotated.

I mainly use Safari on macOS, the reason why I don't choose Chrome is because Safari can save the web page as "Web archive" format, this format retains the original format of the web page, but there is an inconvenience in this manual saving is that there is no effective information organization; I wonder if the author can implement such a saving option on Articles .

I highly recommend you give this a try.
I've used Safari Extensions for Notes, Evernote, Bear and Safari's 'Export to Pdf' for capturing and organizing content for offline reading -- they have no where near the capture accuracy and article organization features.
Along with the article, this saves the website link and provides a reader. Haven't tried the Tags yet, but looks like you can optionally use your own tagging system. More features yet to explore - this is a keeper for me.

It has potentienal but...
On the VERY FIRST article I tried to save, an all text article, this app missed critical information (the first paragraph) vs. the web view.
I really want to like this program, but other services do far better - Reeder, Pocket and Instapaper come to mind.
That I can see the web view in app to make sure things aren't missing and lack of any kind of settings panel is a deal breaker.
It's of no use if I constantly have to check to make sure I didn't miss any information.

A lot to like, but one big problem
Provides the basics for a read-it-later application: Nice design, tagging, syncs to iphone/iPad.
And I *really* like the way Articles lets you highlight text, write annotations, and then cleanly export your highlights and annotations. That's essential to how I work.
My problem is that I get too many failures to save articles. If Articles can't download a page, it should at least save that page as a bookmark, so at least I have *something.* This one problem may cause me to abandon the app, or maybe use something else for read-it-later and use Articles only for highlights and annotations.

I might add - to make this a superior product - we could use a folder organization system. Since I research a few things over the course of the month, to have each article organized by custom subjects, rather than just date or modification, would be enormously efficient and would earn a pro subscription from me.

Nails the fundamentals
Sticks to the basics where more popular apps fail. Read, annotate, favorite, tag, archive, search, on iOS or desktop. Review annotations for any article in a convenient format. A few minor bugs but the developer is active and responsive. This is the best article reading software available for Apple devices.

I never make a review but this app is just what you need
The only thing that holds me from giving another start is that there’s no integration with Mac... THIS IS TOO PERFECT FOR NOT TO HAVE SOMETHING TO CONNECT WITH MAC.
On the other hand... it’s less complicated than Pocket or Instapaper, but powerful enough for what we all need: some place to save better, read better and use better.

Good, at least for now
A simple useful and free basic bookmarking app that was missing on the market, it just does what you need to do in a fast and clean way (i.e., saving links, add tags and research by tags). Unfortunately those basic functions are not free for unlimited use (you have to pay for more then 30 links/months). Its long-term reliability will be the other key element.

I select text and then menu to highlight does not appear (iPhone XS Max)

Exceptional
This is more than great! I tried so many “read it later” apps, this is the only one that can capture all the content with no hassle, plus it has highlighter (with different colors) and notes features, and it’s free to save up to 30 articles a month which is more than enough for me.
My only concern is that notes taken on the certain word cannot be displayed when clicking on the highlighted word, but I know other apps can do that. No complaint other than that.

Unable to install
Got an error that says “iCloud ID not available”. Would love to download, need it to work.

Articles + saves your bookmarks and annotations in Apple's iCloud. In order to install the app, a valid iCloud account is required. Check your device settings or contact Apple Support in case you have any problems.
Already the best Read it later app on iOS
This app is genuinely exciting. It is the only private read it later app (as in it doesn't rely on advertising and user data). I5 is delightfully designed, with some really nice touches. It gives readers an independent alternative to the bigger players in the Read-it-later space. It looks like it is properly native, with iCloud backend. The readability parser is lovely.
One killer feature is the ability to export annotations in markdown. This is very impressive for such a new app, I can't wait to see how it develops.
