Not buyer friendly/agile
I would say my only issue is the lack of agility and buyer-friendly features. I bought a piece and realized the sizing wouldn’t work for the wall, client, etc., in the end. To cancel the offer, I have to email Artsy over and over. They say 24 hours which I emailed about 5 times in 24 hours to make sure. Instead of an easy, cancel here.

Inspiring
As a pretty jaded working artist, I was curious to see what this app looked like for artist, not consumers and I am pleased. It feels like a refreshing sip from a fire hose! The app is visually simple and allows me to view hundreds of artworks at a time, find who I wanna follow, and reach out if I wanna buy. Well done app people!!!

They don’t support independent artists. Have to be part of a gallery.

Problem with Algorithms
The emails I receive supposedly feature my interests, but in actuality have nothing to do with the style, subject, or quality of artwork that I want to purchase.
Not good for collectors
Don’t use this app to track your art collection. It saves all your files locally (not on the cloud), so when you switch to a new phone, your entire collection is lost, even if you sign in. You’ll have to start over, including any artworks you purchase through the app. I’m incredibly frustrated because I’ve been using it to track everything, and now it’s all gone.

Useful but buggy
Its a great platform to access art and galleries, but there’s a few issues that hinder efficiency and effectiveness. This includes the glitchy inbox, which you cant organize or clear out. The app crashes as well and can be inconsistent with its function

Bit of a tricky app some sellers claim to do 50% discount if you send them an offer but then they say it’s sold out you’ve Gotta be careful on the auctions also because the prices can double by the time they add extra hidden costs packaging handling fees and postage . Not forgetting import tax if the seller isn’t in the same Country as u . Buyer Beware

Seems to be broken
Cant edit artworks in my collection “editing will be available once the submission process is complete”
