Could not add photos
Having had the app on my phone for several years, when I came to use it I couldn’t add add my photos. I tried to adjust all settings for some time then gave up. Note: I’ve had an iPhone for 10+ years, work in IT, and never had such an issue.
No camera or photo permissions so it’s useless.
Your developers have forgotten to add the camera or photos entitlement to the app. So there’s no push to ask for permission but also no manual option in the main iOS settings. This makes uploading or taking a photo completely impossible. Either fix this or just give up.

Change of names
As the “powers to be” have now decided to change the name of the Asian Hornet to Yellow Legged Hornet , can you consider updating the name on the app.
Also as there are other hornets from Asia on the way you might consider adding these to the reference species the ID guide.
Can you add the European wasp to the ID chart, as there are people reporting these as suspect.

ASIAN HORNETS
We have them in our garden and when we’re in the pool it’s like they are incredible territorial and are flying at us what do we do? We have very small children (Bournemouth Dorset uk)
