Beware Of Scam

Application took money out of my account for a subscription I never got. Didn’t get accepted for a unknown reason. Refused to refund my money after showing proof of payment . Support email won’t reply for days and not understand at all.

The good times of this app are unfortunately over. Despite having a design of an outdated app, the community is also super small. The app is definitely not self explanatory and despite being a travel and connecting app. They don‘t really emphasize this. User experience is low and it seems like the last major update which really brings a benefit was ages ago.

Where are the events??

Traveling to Atlanta and was hoping to connect and explore the city. When I came across the A Small World, I was so excited to try it! However, when I researched the event page, there have never been past events and it looks like there will be no future events in Atlanta… I expected there to be at least one nice event to check out. That said, I do appreciate the transparency by the company, especially with the price tag.

Terrible

Boring with hardly any people or meetings. This is supposed to be elite like Raya but instead it’s just plain boring. It’s not really known about which means barley anyone uses it and the people who do are of low calibre. It’s really just Facebook with 10 people

Most of the reviews complaining about bugs seem to be quite old. It seems to me to be a great way to access ASW content

This organisation is terrible and does not bring anything. Save 89€ yearly and build your network on free, wider and far more efficient platforms.

Decent app, no iPad roadmap

Unfortunate that there is no native app for iPad nor any plan to roll this out. I imagine that the demographic in this community is one which actually possesses a lot of tablets.

Love being a member!

The events are wonderful, and met some fantastic people through the discovery mode on the app. Also now there’s a cool hotel booking platform, my favourite social media by a mile.

Premium networking app. Yes it has a memberships fee but there is no advertising and they don’t sell your data.

Useless app if you don't pay for it

So my account expired during the lockdown and I decided not to pay for it until everything returns to normal.
The app is pretty useless in such a case! I can't check my messages now unless I pay!!!
Really you expect me to pay for no events?

What a stupid business decision to not take under considerations what is happening in the world.

Hi PMA, yes we charge our members an annual fee to use the app. In return we don't have any advertising and we keep your data private, unlike some other social apps. Also, we've started multiple online event series to make up for the lack of real world events. We're also planning to reintroduce events soon, where appropriate, so we hope to see you back on the app soon. And should you decide to come back, all your info will still be here so you can pick up where you left off. Best

Another miss

I simply don’t like the app. I was expecting something else. There’s no enough/interesting events in Dubai, neither people.
Its designe isn’t friendly.
They don’t refund your money, even if you haven’t used it. I wasted my money with the promise of a cool app...
So, head up before you engage on it.

Sorry Developer , but there’s no events in Dubai ...
you could actually corroborate this before offering a deceptive information.

Events are usually announced around 4 weeks in advance so there's always something new happening. We hope that you will find something that interests you shortly.
