Good app, great developer

The app still has some issues with the login webpage. I ran into the same bug where the login page timed out immediately, but I was able to fix it by logging out completely and binding the console again from scratch.

Overall, Asobi is a good app with true cross-platform support, and it does not charge an arm and a leg every year like Portal, which costs $60 annually.

Thanks for the great review! I'll look and see what I can do about the login page -> I sometimes have the same issue with the PS app from Sony themselves. I honestly wonder what triggers it.

Impressive so far

Good work on the app. Great so far. I am looking forward to seeing you build this out further.

Thanks for the great review!

Saves you $180

This app is a reason you shouldn’t get the Portal. It’s amazing especially if your PS5/PS4 isn’t available to play, you can still play PS5 and even PS3 games.

Can’t log in

The app won’t let me log into my playstation account

Review

Little laggy

Doesn’t work

Just times out everytime I try to connect. Recognizes my console and all but it will just never connect.

Nice app for ps5

Thanks for keep updating this app to make even better

Vibration issues

Vibration is broken whenever I use the dualsense controller..
There also needs to be a way to map xbox controller to be able to use the touchpad functions in Ps games

Has potential

This would be the perfect PS5 remote play app if it didn't micro stutter. I have tried changing every setting and even changed some things on my router to make it not stutter but I can't get a perfect stream. I have a Wi-Fi 7 router and my device is connected to Wi-Fi 7. There is no reason why the stream should stutter. Even the app UI seems a little laggy. In contrast, the PXPLAY app gives me a perfect stream with minimal tweaking. This app has great potential but not enjoyable at the moment.

Adaptive frame pacing is being added with the next update, should be out soon! You could also consider turning on the experimental version of "Adaptive frame pacing", this is also likely to resolve your issues.

Amazing

Here we go… I installed this on my Mac Neo and there was a loading glitch. I used my other Mac to play it was a good start playing my classics again. After the subscription it was good on my phone too.

Thank You For Asobi

Response from developer

Thank you!

Couldn’t sign in

Whenever I enter my password it said something went wrong

When i press “Sign in to PSN” it gets stuck buffering and then the connection times out not allowing me to log in and cant get further.

Must have

If you have a PlayStation five, this is a must have app. Being able to play on an absolutely massive screen is another level the developer is constantly updating and adding new features.

RUDP ISSUE!!

I have two ps5 consoles both at different locations, both connected to the internet via Ethernet cable with the same ISP and internet settings. I can connect to both remotely via the official remote play app no matter where I am in the world and both have a very good connection, but I can only connect to one using Asobi: Remote play. I constantly keep getting RUDP ERRORS no matter what I try yet I seem to have no issue connecting to the other console. The one I can't connect to in my main console and it's driving me insane as I paid money for the extra services (mainly full screen) but as this point the official remote play app seems to trump this app unfortunately. Lots of potential and looks great, too bad I can't use it on the console I want.

False Advertising

When it would ask me to log in it didn’t a couple of times until it did. This apps only use is for signing into a psn account to be able to purchase items from the playstation store

Response from developer

I’m sorry to hear you’re having issues. Feel free to get in touch so I can help resolve them. This app is for playing your games remotely, buying games is impossible. Just click the information button on the top right of the screen and there’s options on how to get help. Thanks.

Impressive so far

Good work on the app. Great so far. I am looking forward to seeing you build this out further.

Issues when saving

Bought the paid version, but I cannot save the graphics or latency options as there is no ‘done’ button (when clicking on the gear icon). ps cloud streaming is nice

So close

Finds PS no problem, I can see the PS on the network, but I get an error when I try to connect.

**update - working

Works for streaming PSN+ games remotely!!

I never leave reviews but was so pleasantly surprised and impressed with how well it worked. As the title says, I kept running into an error when doing remote play on my PS5, I couldn’t stream games, so I just started looking for workarounds and even Google said it was not possible but this one came through. Just sign in with your PSN account and assuming you’re a Premium subscriber to PSN, you can stream any games straight to your phone, including the PS3 classic titles.

Amazing

Being able to stream my games on my phone without needing to connect to my PS5 is a killer feature!. Worth every penny
