Only if it would open
I was excited to have my library card on my phone as well as to manage books from my local library. Much to my dislike, the app won’t open no matter how many times I’ve deleted it to try again five times.
Worked great until I got an iPhone 17.
I’ve been using this app for years to get e books from the library near me and all of a sudden now that I’ve gotten an iPhone 17 it doesn’t even open. The app opens and shuts out to the Home Screen of my phone. But still works perfectly fine on my iPhone 15. Can y’all like fix this please..?
Unreliable
I love the idea of this app. Being able to easily access my library account, put books on hold, and search for new reads would be wonderful.
Unfortunately, I am about to abandon this app because it isn’t reliable. Most recently, I have been unable to use it for the past two weeks. It just hangs at the loading screen or gets to the choose library screen and does nothing after I enter my library. I’ve spent more time messing with the app trying to get it working than I would have just logging on to my library’s website.
It’s a shame, because when the app works it’s a powerful tool for library users that would make borrowing easier for patrons. I wish it was better maintained.

Rarely opens and everytime it does I have to constantly re-select my library
Anytime I try to open this app I get a perpetual spinning wheel. Occasionally (as in 1/10 tries) after a few minutes I’ll get to a page that says choose your library. Why?? I have already chosen my library multiple times already! The app should remember my choice. To make matters worse, this lastest time, my geolocation was set to somewhere in CA so I was getting a list of CA libraries. I’m in TX. The reset golocation button did nothing to help matters. This app is actually the worst. And to make matters worse, my library doesn’t offer physical cards so this app is the only way to access my card to check out books. Total rubbish!

Crashes on opening, after restart and after reinstall
I can't find any way to report this to the developer. I'm on an iPhone 14 Pro Max running iOS 26.5 and today (6/25) the app is crashing every time I open it. I've restored my phone, I've deleted and reinstalled the app.

App used to work but now wen I try to open it I have to log in and wen I do that it jst crashes but before the quality was ok wish it had the thing like in the libby app where u can c the other books in the series and which one it is u also cant renew books that have holds even tho it says multiple other copies of the book r available

Did not renew books
At first, the app was fine. It logged me out of my account a couple of times, which was frustrating, but it wasn’t a deal breaker for me.
But recently, I noticed I had some books that were a day overdue. My library doesn’t charge late fees until two days have passed, so I pressed the Renew All button to renew all my books. But then a couple of days later, I got an email from my library saying three of five books were overdue and I now had a late fee. For some reason, the app didn’t renew all the books I had even though I hit the Renew All button. I know for a fact that these books were not on hold because when I decided to hit the Renew All button again to see what happened, it renewed the other three books that were overdue. This bug should be fixed ASAP. I should not be charged late fees because the app was not working.

Doesn’t even open.
For the last few months, this app won’t even load for me. When I open it on my iPhone 16 Pro, it just sits on a spinning wheel forever. I’ve tried deleting and reinstalling it with no success. This app is currently completely unusable and should be removed from the app store if not fixed.

This app is the glitchiest app I’ve ever used. It constantly doesn’t load things or boots me out of the app and won’t allow me to reopen it. When it finally works again, I have to log in with my library number and pin every time. So frustrating.

Won’t even open
I have installed and uninstalled this app 4 times, I have a fairly new phone and I’m on the current iOS and it simply won’t open. Just sits there on the initial page spinning - I don’t even get a login screen. Terrible app experience so far.

My library is getting rid of their actually functional app and switching us to this garbage that won’t even open on a modern phone
Horrible
I only use this app because my library uses it. It would almost be more useful to just go to the library. This app constantly doesn’t work. Freezes, logs you out suddenly, or just won’t open.
Doesn’t work
Stopped working, just sits on the first screen with the spinner going endlessly. I restarted my phone and uninstalled then reinstalled the app, still nothing.
Logs Out Repeatedly
This app is slow and clunky. Takes forever to load and logs me out in the middle of using it. Hope there can be some fixes made or my library changes to a different app. 🙁
Doesn’t work
I have the latest iOS on iPhone. I have downloaded and deleted this app three times. Whenever I open the app, it doesn’t respond. I give up. Developers, please do better.
